I guess this place just wasn't for us.The fish and chips turned out to be catfish with cornbread batter, which I like, but my wife, who ordered ,didn't. .. when mentioning it to the staff, all she got back was a so what. We ventured into Cowboys Grill on Sunday afternoon. WOW! What delicious food. Definitely order the Philly Cheesesteak, it’s the best we’ve ever had. Served hot and smothered with green peppers onions and cheese on a super soft FRESH hoagie with French fries. They also serve beer on tap and in the bottle. OPEN TILL MIDNIGHT! Free pool on Wendsday and Saturday. Looking forward to our next visit with them to try something new on the menu.
I wanted to love every part of this place, but I’ve got to be honest. I think a burger is the way to go.I had chicken fried steak. The meat was ok but the crispy breading was great. The mashed potatoes were great on the first bite, but then I realized they were super salty. Each bite tasted great, with the salt taste drowning it out immediately. I like salt, even extra salt.
