Exactly what I wanted. We're on a road trip and this place was the campy and homey place we needed. Lovely people running the place and the perfect cheese enchiladas.

Closed at 920pm on Saturday night with advertised closing hours of 10pm. I was disappointed they were completely dark, they should update their business hours. I saw two other people visit and discovered they closed early.
From other reviewers, they don't seem to take their own business hours very seriously.

This place was fantastic. A real treat after driving the interstate all day. Friendly staff, delicious genuine Mexican food
Meal was very good, service was friendly. The decor and tables were dated, but in good condition and clean. Restroom was clean. Food was not especially spicy, some would call it a bit bland, sure, but it was very good.

We were disappointingly underwhelmed by the flavor and quality of the food. It was surprisingly dry and bland, and the portions were fairly small for the price. Great, kind staff and quick service, though!

Excellent breakfast! Huevos rancheros South Texas style with homemade salsa, perfect potatoes, good beans, crispy bacon, This will be on our stop list from now on. Sitting here finishing up and already looking forward to the next visit.
