This is a wonderful hole in the wall Tex-Mex restaurant with great value and superb cooking. I come down from San Angelo to meet family that comes from Kerrville and 9 times out of 10 we choose Tia Nena's.
Meal was very good, service was friendly. The decor and tables were dated, but in good condition and clean. Restroom was clean. Food was not especially spicy, some would call it a bit bland, sure, but it was very good.
We were disappointingly underwhelmed by the flavor and quality of the food. It was surprisingly dry and bland, and the portions were fairly small for the price. Great, kind staff and quick service, though!
