Unfortunately the special was tasteless: chicken fried steak was chewy, mashed potatoes tasted like instant and carrots overly cooked and too sweet. The salad bar was surprisingly crisp & tasty with lots of good toppings. Nice folks but disappointing main food.

Got here at 8:30 they close at 9. Didn't bother them at all very friendly. Excellent service and chicken fried steak great. Rolls are heaven sent lol.Thanks ladies. Wonderful meal

There's an intense, pervasive smell that fills the entire restaurant. It's acrid and musty. Really off-putting. There aren't really any windows and it's a rather old building. Perhaps it's due to improper ventilation. The onion rings were good, but the bun which my grilled chicken came on, was doughy and undercooked. Not an enjoyable atmosphere and the food doesn't do much to make up for it.

One of the worst reastrants I have been to coming from New Braunfels to Beeville stopped there for dinner with my family was told great food n service nothing what I expected we got off our suv and started to smell moth balls once we walked in and got worse with a really bad sewage smell bathrooms were horrible full of dust and bad sewage smell our food was cold and wait staff just completely looked out of it never will we stop there or ever recommend that dirty and smelly place reasraunt restaurant.
Cold food, poor service, not the barth’s we loved in high school and college on road trips.Very disappointed, we will not be back.

Worst place on the planet, these people would be better off robbing banks. Service pathetic, prices were ridiculous, I was screaming at the cashier as I walked out the door. A great candidate for a nuclear bomb site. Owners have no pride. Don't go there.......you've been warned!!!!!!
