This place is a gem! I had the fried catfish special...best I've ever had!! Catfish was crispy, flaky & perfectly seasoned.Hubby had the club sandwich & loved it.Super cute decorations & great service. Don't miss this one!Would have taken photos, but we ate it all! Lol

Horned Toad Cafe was amazing! We had the chicken fried chicken special of the day, the fried pickles, and it was all incredible. You could tell everything was very fresh and homemade with love. The staff and the owner was very kind and caring, along with the service being quick/attentive. Would definitely recommend!

First time in Kennedy and had to stop in per recommendations of several friends. So happy I did! Started with the original cornbread, jalapeño cornbread and the fried pickles which were incredible. I ordered the chicken, bacon and avocado wrap with sweet potato fries and that was delicious as well. The owner Melissa said that’s the most popular and I can see why. Come hungry because you won’t want to stop eating lol.

Stopped there on Mother’s day and they had a brunch. Complimentary mimosas or champaign or Bellini We had the Belgian waffle , egg and bacon crepes and eggs Benedict. All delicious. Service was great as well, Will be stopping again in the future

Yes, i recommend this place 100%. We stopped in for lunch on our way through town. We had a peak at the menu on the way and saw that this was a sandwich shop.On arrival, on. Sunday by the way, we were informed that they only had three items available besides the salad bar. We were happy with the selection, it made it easier for us to choose. The options were Turkey dinner, chicken fried chicken, or chicken fried steak.We tried the turkey and the chicken fried steak, both served with green beans and mashed potatoes. The food was great, specially the cranberry that comes with the turkey and dressing. The portion size was very generous as well.Make sure to save room for the homemade desserts. We tried the lemon Bundt cake. The wait staff was nice, specially the person that we assumed to be the owner.Stop on by if you are in the area or just passing by. Enjoy y'all!
