Dairy Queen in Kilgore

“I get excited every time I can come here because I grew up my grandparents bringing me here as a kid. So when I am 20 East I stop. This trip was great but once I got my food. I saw the ketchup bottle where you pick up to go order. So I said I will use it to put ketchup on my onion rings (which I do not eat like this but this was a happy cheat day) I go in bag for onion rings and the paper they have them in is not fully closed so they all fall on counter. Lady gets them and throws in trash and is going to ring me up for more. I get it food is high I have a food truck but the packaging is awful. I said no thanks I must did not need them. Heck I would have just did the 2 second rule and ate them had I known she was about to charge me another $3.89 and I already paid $12 for my dude and onion rings. I was all happy until this. But I will always love this Dairy Queen for the memories.“

“This is one of the cleanest fast food restaurants I have been in. I was greeted when I entered, my order was taken with a smile and I was thanked when my order was completed. Then I was told my order would be delivered to my table when ready. I was amazed as I looked for a spot to sit......ALL the tables, that weren't occupied, was clean. In filling my drink cup, that area was clean as well. After sitting for just a few minutes, my food was delivered with a smile and I was asked if I needed anything else. Additionally, my French fries were golden and fresh without looking and tasting like they were either cooked in old grease or soggy as in many other fast food restaurant fries are.If I could rank this Dairy Queen higher, I would. You're a 10!You are what others should aspire to be.“
