Looking for a lunch place close to our campground. The street tacos were very good, and the elote was especially tasty! The decor is cute. Plus, they have bottled Mexican Coca-Cola! Right off I-20, so it's easy access.

We’ve always had a blast at Docs. They have the best chicken quesadillas and a wide variety of beers. You can’t go to docs without getting some type of taco and the beef tacos were off the chain! Perfect sizes and full of flavor- my picky 3 yr old even loved them and took some home! The service is laid back and they make sure everyone stays happy, the entertainment and bands I’ve seen there have never been anything less than great and I love how the atmosphere of the place feels so private considering it’s right off of i20. Y’all go check out docs taco for a fun date night, a laid back drink or even just to take some quick pics outside with some of their cool decor. Y’all won’t be disappointed
Kid-friendliness: Almost all of their decor and furniture is all kid friendly they’ve got some old play equipment that’s cool for the kiddos to climb and have fun on and even a good open area to dance to music! Picnic style benches, tables with chairs and even a loft up top for those that want the ultimate view

On our way to Colorado and stopped off in Kilgore, Texas at this little place. Here is Docs Taco Shop. The food is authentic, and the service is personal. Live music every Friday on the back patio. No tex-mex here. Docs is definitely a place you need to visit while traveling down I-20.
