Nice Cafe in downtown. Garlic pickles were the BOMB! Great lunch specials (panini press sandwich, chips and drink) for a round $9. Bacon ranch chicken salad is very tasty. Check this lunch spot out for sure.

The lady that took our order was very helpful. I had the brisket loaded backed potato. It was amazing!
I stopped in for a late to go lunch to take back to my office. I've eaten here several times with friends and get a baked potato or soup and sandwich. I saw the special and thought that would be perfect for a late lunch. I was not disappointed! The Baked Chicken Quiche was very good as well as the fruit cup with mandarin oranges, apples and pineapple. My favorite though had to be the Zucchini Bread which was flavorful and moist. I think I have found my go to when I need to pick up a quick lunch to take back to the office. I do not have any pictures since I ate my lunch before I decided to submit the review.

Delicious and healthy salads, sandwiches, stuffed potatoes in a bright and friendly storefront in downtown Kilgore. Seven homemade dressings indicate the homespun freshness. The half-and-half lunches are a great deal and plenty filling. I had the grilled chicken D'Lite salad and a Southwestern grilled chicken wrap. Both delicious. Shouldn't have finished them--left no room for Blue Bell ice cream at the Kilgore Mercantile next door.

The restaurant is cute & it has a good location, but that's all. The food is nothing special, at all. I got a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese .My grilled cheese was HARD!!! Like it hurt to chew it because the bread was so overcooked. The soup was bland and chunky, didn't taste like a homemade tomato soup at all. The also only had 2 drinks options when I went. I will not be returning as I didn't even finish my food and had to go get something else to eat.
The staff at DD is professional & polite. If you are looking for a great lunch, stop in here!
