Native Texan here! I popped in on a lunch break. Friendly, clean, non greasy. I’ve traveled to nuevo progresso, Mexico several times over this past year, and the food here tasted like Mexico. Authentic Mexican, not Tex Mex. New lunch spot fav!

The food is definitely authentic, absolutely delicious. The service was great, and the staff were awesome. The only thing that could be better is the restaurant itself. It's very austere and plain. But honestly it was hard to notice because the food was awesome.

Another hidden gem in Kilgore. Next to the bowling alley, green little building. Lady was super nice! I had the potato and egg with cheese burrito, so good! Made with flour tortilla and not the store bought one. Homemade red salsa was spicy (which I preferred.)

The best gorditas I have ever eaten are delicious, I highly recommend them We are from Houston and I have never tried gorditas so delicious how are you? I recommend 1000%
Wow!!!!! Great, great food. Best Mexican food (thus far) in Kilgore!!!!! I am a truck driver and was able to park my truck (no trailer) behind the building, parking in front and back. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, I think they close around 3 or 4pm. I had a lunch plate and 3 Gorditas. My grandchildren had gorditas, sopes, and bean tacos. This place is REAL Authentic Mexican food. They even have a drive through, if you don't want to get down. Definitely, definitely coming back!!!!!Muchas gracias por todo, primero DIOS nos vemos pronto!!!!!
