To start off, the dinner was amazing. Wonderful food and perfectly cooked steak here. Definitely get the black Angus ribeye if this is your first time.

Staff here were friendly and approachable. Highly recommended if you are in Kilgore.

I ordered my steak well done, it was still bleeding. Sent it back and it still came out under cooked.
Well done- no pink left in middle.
The sauce that came with it and the double baked potatoes was good. The asparagus wasn't fully cooked, not that I am a fan of it.
And for $59 bucks that steak should have been cooked to perfection.
Definitely will not return.

My gratitude and compliments to waiter Dalton. It is hard to get lost in Kilgore, Texas; but I managed. He came to my location and led me to the restaurant to meet my friends. I am never disappointed in my food. I am bitterly disappointed, however, that you moved from Tyler - my home town. We always enjoyed our lunches there in the bank building.

Tonight, we visited Jack Ryan’s in Kilgore to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday, per her request. What should have been a special evening turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience primarily due to our server, Jason, who also happened to be the manager. From the start, Jason was inattentive, dismissive, and flat-out rude. While we watched him give attentive service to his other tables, our party was left waiting 25 minutes before even being greeted. It was so noticeable that the hostess eventually stepped away from her post to take our appetizer order. That shouldn’t happen at any restaurant, let alone one we’ve supported regularly. Other servers thankfully stepped in to refill our drinks and help out, but the fact that the manager was the one providing such poor service is beyond unacceptable. When I asked to speak to the manager about the situation and found out it was Jason himself, it became clear that the lack of professionalism and care was systemic. We’ve been loyal customers for years, but after this experience, we will not be returning. It’s disheartening to be treated as though our business doesn’t matter, especially when celebrating a milestone event. Management should lead by example, and unfortunately, Jason failed on every level.

Craig was our waiter and did a superior job. The food and drinks were amazing as always.

I’m from Arizona and was in this area of Texas for work searching for a good restaurant. This was by far the best choice. Craig S. Was my server and he was so helpful and knowledgeable about the way the food was prepared and provided such great service.
Craig was on point with his recommendations this was by far the best steak I have ever had in my life.
The salad was amazing. I can’t say enough on how good everything was.
Next time I am on this area I am for sure coming back.
