The only problem I had was finding this place. There were only a couple of small signs that I missed the first 2 times I drove by.My son and I got a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich. We split them in half so we could try both. Hands down some of the best brisket either of us have ever tried. The pulled pork was good but we would love to go back for more brisket. If we ever travel to the area again, we will be back!
Last year, while visiting Texas, I tried smoked brisket for the first time at a DIFFERENT place and was unimpressed. Skeptical, I tried some from here, and OH MY GOODNESS!! What a difference!!! It was so MOIST and TENDER, I think I could have cut it with a plastic fork!! The pulled pork was delicious, too! I’m not crazy about beans, but instead of being “sweet-bbq” like the canned beans are, these were super flavorful with a hint of “chili-bbq” type flavor to them. YUMMMM!!!!...
We've eaten at Raisin' Smoke many times. Based on those experiences we had Steven cater a party we had for 40 - 45 people. It was all excellent. All of our guests complimented the food. I suspect he'll get some new customers after Saturday.
