We stopped in for breakfast at Hooper’s in Kingston today and absolutely loved it. Our waitress recommended the Migas taco and she was spot on—it was superb (fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for). Service was terrific from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We enjoyed everything about the visit and will definitely be back.

Finally made it here after a hike nearby..

Good experience.. our server was nice and attentive.. group of 7, and she did amazing..

Signature marg was delish.. boudin balls were good.. blt was loaded.. spicy chicken + biscuit was misleading on the menu.. thought we were going to get a chicken sammy in a biscuit, but it was a couple of tenders and a biscuit instead.. oh well..

Had breakfast there on 12-19-25 and the sausage and biscuit gravy was less than spectacular and the side of sausage was tough and had gristle in it. The service with Renee and her sister was excellent. Maybe i just got the wrong thing but if they are going to serve it, it should be good. It is pricey too

We had a wonderful time here. The food was delicious (just needed a bit of salt) and the atmosphere was the best. Reasonable prices and excellent staff that were so sweet!
Whether you're a horror movie buff or not, I'd recommend going. The main level has a cozy old home feel. The second story is for the horror fans. Small area, but still pretty neat!

My fiancé and I were there recently as I was on a trip from Australia. Absolutely lovely restaurant and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend to everyone and the house was such a great experience to see and tour the impressive set up on the inside ☺️ thank you so much again!

This was my first time here. I got a large order of pancakes and they were huge. Everyone was really nice to talk to. They encourage you to look around the Texas Chainsaw Massacre house which the Cafe is in. Well worth the drive here.

I was looking forward to eating and visiting this place. Our waiter Robby B. made our first time experience here very memorable. He was very friendly, super attentive to our needs, and very personable. Our food was delicious and the drinks were great. Robby is also very knowledgeable on the area as we asked where we can view a good sunset and he recommended the Burnet County Picnic area off Park Rd 4 W. Thank you Robby for your sweet kindness.

Was very disappointed that nowhere on the website tells you that most of the house and the gift shop are closed after 2. Just mentions breakfast ends at 2. The servers were nice, but took a long time to get someone to help. Spent almost $120 on 3 people and the food was mostly just okay. Best thing about the visit was the stuffed pepper soup.
