Great food and service
Haven’t eaten here in years because they are usually open only during the day. Best hamburger I’ve had in a long time, my husband said the enchiladas were awesome!!! Owners are super friendly as always, they took great care of us. Definitely recommend eating here!!!
We decided to try the place today for some "authentic" Mexican food. The waitress was too busy having her nose up the hostess' butt to pay any attention to us. As soon as we sat down we asked for menu's and we're told they were out of the paper one's, we had to look at their website from our phones to place our orders. Food finally arrives and the refried beans tasted burnt, there was plastic on my chalupa and when I informed the waitress she said so what do you want me to do with it? I asked for a replacement plate which took 20 minutes for a taco shell with dried out taco meat and a chalupa with burnt refried beans and very little cheese. Will definitely NOT be going back.
We were Kingsville for the day and my husband said he felt like good authentic Mexican food ... We ordered and pick up Lydia’s. It was amazing ! Thanks Lucy and Bob !!

Lydia's is one of the best places for Mexican food I've ever been to... the absolute BEST Migas I have ever had... it's the ONLY place I'll order it! Love everyone at Lydia's... and they always have a smile and a great cup of coffee for you!
Lydia’s is a wonderful place to eat for an authentic home made Mexican food! They have the best carne guisada in Kingsville! Hands down!!! They are friendly, and accommodating. If you were just a bit hungry when you drove in, that will change as soon as the delicious smells reach your nose! You’ll ALWAYS find a member of the family available; Robert, Bob and/or Lucy. Be sure to say hello when you visit!
