Back last year we had lunch here and it was excellent but I had a bad stroke and two employees called 911 and helped save my life so today we went back and had lunch again which was great and I got to thank them. Thank y'all again and God bless you .
Wanted this to be a really top rating, but no. Food was served really fast, but was cold, except the chicken fried steak which was super hot. It was rather expensive for what we got. I was so hoping for my first visit to a place I had heard rave reviews for would have been better. The chicken fried chicken tasted pretty good, but the King Ranch casserole was not good and was cold.
What a gem to stumble on after thrifting. On the main street in downtown Kingsville in an old bank with the safe still in the dining room! Oh yeah, the food. Crunchy hearty cut of beef for my CFS, homemade mash and tasty gravy. My friend enjoyed the daily special of meatloaf which was tender with a sweet tomato based sauce. JELLY for the scratch biscuit/rolls!!!! Owner Mary Ann was a delightful presence if you are able to be graced with her presence. Thanks and will be back again.
