The place looks like a small house. That feeling continues when you sit down and a waitress that reminded me of someone's favorite aunt took my order. Then the food arrived - Oh. My. Goodness! Huge serving prepared to perfection.

This is a quaint little restaurant with what appears to be authentic German food. Different styles of schnitzel and sides are offered; try the spaetzle...it's so good! The owner is also the cook and is delightful! There is German music playing and a slideshow of Germany's sights and festivals. Highly recommended this place!!!!

The wife and I had tickets to see the rodeo at 7:30. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:15. Fifteen minutes after they opened. There was about three tables sat with their food before us. We sat and waited and waited and waited. We was told our waitress was on the phone taking phone orders. We couldn't understand why another waitress didn't help us if ours was on the phone. It took around 20 minutes for our waitress to see us. A LONG time. When she did, she was very apologetic and we was happy with letting it go and just getting our drinks/food. Food was good as usual. I left the waitress a 20% tip and went to checkout. We stood in the checkout line at least another 15 minutes. They have one phone line for incoming calls and credit card transactions. It was chaos. I decided, due to the long wait to get my order in and the chaos at the register, I was going to pay $2 per beer. Their alcohol is on a "tip" system. They can't sell it but you are required to pay a "tip." When the waitress asked us how much we was going to tip for the alcohol I said $2 per bottle. She said that wasn't enough and got the owner. The owner came out and berated us. I explained to him that we waited for a long time to get our waitress and this chaos at the checkout. He yelled at us. Told us to get out of his restaurant and go to McDonalds. We was late to the Rodeo because of this shenanigans. TLDR: Beer is not on a tip system. If you get crummy service and take it out of the owners tips, he will yell at you, throw you out, and tell you to go to McDonalds.

The food at Bavarian restaurant is always excellent and prepared nicely. My two favorite dishes on their menu are the Gypsy schnitzel and the Hawaiian schnitzel. The Gypsy schnitzel is a breaded pork cutlet topped with spicy brown gravy with mushrooms and green peppers. The Hawaiian schnitzel is a breaded pork cutlet top with pineapple Swiss cheese and cherries. You can't go wrong with either of these entrees. The warm German potato salad is another favorite along with the red cabbage. The only complaint I have about my latest visit would be about our waitress. She is obviously new and a bit too chatty for my liking. Instead of seeing that we needed more water or tea she approached us frequently asking if we wanted more instead of bringing the water pitcher or tea pitcher over to refill our glasses. Also, after taking our drink order, she proceeded to clean several tables before we got the attention of one of the other waitresses to remind her to bring us our drinks.

The chicken schnitzel here is fantastic, 5 Stars! All the other sides are great also. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, there are Germany mugs everywhere. The owner which is also the cook comes out of the kitchen to make small talk with the customers. The restaurant makes you feel like you are in a small German town. Definitely worth going check it out!

Excellent food and value. Rahman schnitzel was hot. delicious, and very flavorful. Big enough to share. Potatoes were nice and crisp but green beans were soggy and salty. House made apple strudel was very good.

I've gone twice and both times the food was delicious. Fried food is difficult to get right. I'd the oil temperature is too cold, the food soaks the oil before it's cooked. If it's too hot it burns before it's cooked. The Bavarian Restaurant is just right.

While the food was good as always, the cook was extremely upset bcz we came in when there was no reservation. Only needed for party of 6 or more, we were 5 and already seated. He tried to ask us to leave without really saying it. We stayed bcz it was my birthday celebration. They are only open Friday and Saturday now. We will not have to worry about him being upset. Won't be back. Been going since 1989.

I've been really sad that there's barely any German Restaurants around here. I loved Bavarian Brauhaus and after they closed, I went to Dresden Cafe, but they closed too! I'm happy that I found this place! It's absolutely delicious; staff is very nice as well! Everyone is right, portions are amazing too! ♡

Huge portions. I've never seen schnitzel as big as a large dinner plate. Unfortunately, the bratwurst tasted like a hot dog. The fried potatoes and sauerkraut were good. Go early if you want dessert...they ran out of the apple strudel and another dessert we asked for. 😥

This cute little restaurant has amazing service first and foremost. The food tastes authentic Bavarian. While they don't sell beer or wine, they will accept a gratuity for a glass (I gave $6 per and this seemed acceptable). Make sure to look up the hours before you visit, I don't think they are open every day.
