They only open once a month if that. When I 1st started coming was great. Last 2 times not so much. Over a 45 min wait for a 1 meat plate last time!!! Even called in and still had a 20 min wait inside. The 2 girls they had helping didn't use gloves!!! 1 was refilling bread in baggies never washed hands or anything. Beans taste like right out of can. It's gone downhill.
The wife and I were in the area looking for a new place to eat stumbled upon Caroline's I am so grateful we did from the minute you walked through the door, the smells, Smiles, service, food, people are wonderful we got there just before the rush and the rush was out the door seating area is very limited the food is amazing. If you get the baked potato I hope you're hungry..... we will be back... bring CASH they do not take plastic
Best Barbecue in Texas ! And if you can eat all thats on your plate your a better man than most. Becoming a land mark in the city of Kountze. Treat your taste buds to some great Brisket. Got to go im getting hungry.
