Came across Barnett Sweets Co. on a wedding page I was following and I am SO glad I did! The desserts were amazing and a HUGE hit with our guests! My husband and I aren't truly cake people so we were excited to find a place who offered an assortment of sweets in bite sizes! When we did the tasting for 4 people, it felt like for 8 and we had a lot to bring back home to our families to try! They were very cost efficient and even with desserts for about 200 guests AND the delivery fee to Waxachachie, we paid less than $1,000!! I am also happy that they offered to do a 3-tiered cake where the bottom two layers were fake and the top layer was the only layer that was real. Can't wait to order and retry the desserts again since they went so fast!!

Decided to do a tasting box with them after I saw them at a bridal show and they were by far the best we tasted. Hired them for our wedding and they did a FANTASTIC job. We had red velvet cake and strawberry cake with strawberry filling and both were loved by our guests. Our cake looked amazing too, it was exactly what I asked for. People even asked where we got our cake from because they wanted more. Couldn’t recommend enough

The cake tasted delicious. But it leaned so badly we had to take it out of the reception and cut it in the back. We paid for a cake to serve the entire wedding - and could have bought a bunch of sheet cakes. Very disapppointed.If they make your wedding cake - make sure they put enough dowels in it to keep it upright.

Wow! So delicious! We booked Barnett Sweets + Co. for our wedding and could not have chosen a better place! The snickerdoodle cake was amazing! Our guests absolutely loved the cupcakes and were going back for more throughout the reception. We loved the process of the taste testing kit as our lives were very busy. They made ordering easy and created a beautiful wedding cake for us! The look of the cupcakes was perfect also with glitter topping that matched the cake! Thank you!! Natalie L

For my daughter wedding we ordered a 3 tier cake. The bottom tier was not cooked in the middle. It was sticky and was one of the worse cakes I have ever tasted. I would not recommend this cake shop for any events. They also were not clear that the cake stand was $40 for the rental. My daughter in law thought it was $40 for the purchase. She had to drive 2 and half hours one way to return the cake stand 2 days after the wedding.
