Ok. Let's talk about common sense and good judgement. Which apparently these 2 employees have none.
I'm in Baskin Robbins almost everyday at this same location.
I ordered my ice cream and was ready to pay.
The total came to $3.36.
I had a $50.
2 one dollar bills and change that totaled about .90¢.
They informed me they can't take larger than $20.
Nothing on a card.
They both stand there and say they can't do anything but the total is $3.36.
So either decide to take a $50 or let me have it for about .46¢ less.
So let's just waste a $3.36 cup of ice cream and throw it away. Rather than taking what I have less .46¢ or changing a $50.
I walked out very disappointed in the 2 girls working. Neither one stepped up to offer the .46¢ to help. Or decided to go ahead and take the $50 or just let me have it.
In my day seeing as I am in there almost everyday, it would have been worth saying:
Enjoy your ice cream and we will see you next time. Or something reasonable.
Not letting your customer walk out with nothing.

When I saw the low rating of 3 I figured out why it happened the way it did.
Another low rating from a very dissatisfied customer.
But it obviously means nothing to anyone here.
Probably won't visit this store again.
Too many convenience stores sell ice cream and can probably figure out how to make a sale and keep a customer satisfied.
Very disappointed in our youth and they are about par for the knowledge and skill that I expect from them.
Baskin-Robbins offers a convenient selection of classic ice cream flavors.
I’m not sure what Baskin-Robbins is selling these days, but it’s definitely not 31 flavors—or even 13. The last four visits, they’ve been out of multiple core flavors and hot fudge. Imagine showing up to an ice cream shop and being told, “We don’t have chocolate, and the topping that makes life worth living is unavailable.”
At this point it feels less like a dessert stop and more like a low-stakes emotional test. Do better.
Baskin Robbins Kyle never fails to disappoint. Each time we attempt to order, they are out of basic flavors. So sad.
What’s going on??? Went there last night and half of the ice cream was already taken to the back, guy behind the counter said they had “put it away because they where closing at 10 it was 8:45 when we walking Inside!!! Really??? You can’t get any good help nowadays!!! This is Poor management!! Sad but we will never ever go to this establishment in Kyle, I guess San Marcos will get my money from now on!!! Do better Kyle… no way you were ready for the amount of traffic Kyle has now!!
Messed up our ENTIRE order of 5 different ice creams. Not a single one correct even with the corrent info in the reciept on the bag. Wouldn't answer the phone. And even ripped off the end of the reciept where we'd be able to take the survey and give them crap. Absolutely ridiculous and appalling. Don't waste your money or your time.
EDITED TO ADD: even though we ordered a week in advance they still couldn’t provide the cake flavor we wanted. They changed it on us and didn’t note or advise what to expect. WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!
The ratio of cake to ice cream was WAY off. They just don’t make these cakes like they used to.
Not impressed. We ordered an ice cream cake a week out and they asked TWO days prior if we could change the cake flavor because they may or may not have the one we want. Poor planning.
Picked up the cake and realizing I could have written on it better myself.
These cakes are too expensive to come out looking like this!

I came at 9:53pm was able to make my order and everything was great but the one on stassney and 1st st in Austin always close at least an hour early

Store is filthy and worn out looking. Rugs looked like they havnt been cleaned in ages. Kinda gross.

A month later after we left our previous review below, we are here again, and we are completely happy today. Our issues were fixed, kids were heard, served nicely with respect. Thank you so much for making this place kids pleasant!
My July 2-star review:One sales person ruins impression of entire customer service of this location. The rest of the team is between great and amazing. One girl was taking my order was not focusing on us. I was with three grandkids from 3 to 6, required my attention. First one asked for a cup with two kid size scoops (1 - rocky road, 1 - lemon) She took regular size scoop and made one despite me telling her that she misunderstood. My kid cried saying that she wanted two scoops in her one cup. Finally, the sales person understood that she didn’t serve us right, she threw the scoop away and told us that another person will come to serve us. Meanwhile, she was standing right at the same place at front of us behind the ice creams for 5 mins. No one replaced her to serve us, two salespeople stopped by to chat with her, we were still waiting. Finally, she made second attempt to serve us, she was noticibly irritated.
Ice cream was delicious, but kids couldn’t enjoy it fully after treating them as second-hand customers.

We went to give BR another chance as we have not had good experiences in the past. We wanted Cappuchino blasts but nope they didn't have some ingredient they needed to make them so we settled for shakes and they were okay. The workers seemed depressed or something. No greetings and no smiles. So this will be my last visit at the Kyle location. So my suggestions: Smile and make the customers feel welcome! Geez!

This is the nicest Baskin Robbins. The staff is crazy good. They are pleasant, courteous and very helpful. The atmosphere is bright and clean and of course, the ice cream is delicious.
Out of stock of 3/5 flavors we wanted to order as well as bananas for the banana splits.
