The food is absolutely amazing, Service is well, and the atmosphere is a bit small but overall it is a neat place! But… it was unfortunately moved locations and it seems like it is going to be replaced by a Root Cellar Cafe. So I will be sad to see this one go, but also excited for Root Cellar!?

We hadn't been to East Buffet since the summer and we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing... We showed up just before 8pm for dinner and we were scraping the corners of the pan to get the last of the food. It wasn't just one or two items, it was many slim pickings. Even the hot n sour soup was down to the bottom, I was lucky to get two ladles full in my cup. I went to reach for a spoon from the silverware caddy next to the soup containers and oh my it was filthy disgusting. I must have made a face or gesture as I put my spoon back because an employee walked by and asked me if I needed help finding anything, then proceeded to explain to me that there were spoons at the table with our napkins. I grabbed a set of chop sticks. I continued my walk around gazing upon the hot food selections, and again I was disconcerted by the fact that the food looked old, like it had been sitting out all DAY. The food did not appear fresh at all... On the upside the food I chose had nice flavors, nothing that I imagined it to be from my visuals. So to them I have to give BONUS POINTS... they had PEPSI!! ? And as always the kids love the self-serve ice cream. Not the best but not the worst. We will go back again.
