Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
This place has got the best food around! It’s my favorite spot now ever since Flaming Bird disappeared, but this place is way better and I can’t believe that I just found out about this place! Grab your kids and go eat some amazing food!
Wish i had a picture of the food but it was so good we DEVOURED it! We got a mix of things and by far the chicken took 1st place for sure. We didn’t talk at all when eating just to prove how good it was? Great prices and great customer service. Whoever was working the window 9/13 at 6:30-7 was absolutely amazing asked if we need any extra napkins, silverware, salsa, etc. Was very impressed through and through will be back very soon! :))
