Who would’ve thought that going to an IHOP in 2025 in the middle of nowhere would get you an experience of incredibly friendly and prompt service, attention to detail, and the old-school IHOP taste and enjoyment? Not us, but that is exactly what we got. If you’re scooting along the tollway and need a quick break, or if you’re going to sit down and enjoy a meal with someone, I give this a hearty recommendation! TLDR: Just watching the teamwork alone made it worth it, and the food put it over the top.

Went on 8/24/2025. Table of 3 adults 2 kids.
As soon as we went in the waitresses didn’t seem like they wanted tables. Didn’t even greet us. Actually they didn’t get any tables, only one girl was taking tables.
Drinks took a while because again she was the only girl waitressing as the others were chit chatting away.
The food came out and it was okay. The real issue was as we were getting ready to pay the waitress just handed the ipad to my husband as to ready to pay $100. 61. Didn’t show him why it was $100.61. My husband is non-confrontational. So he pays and is about to leave a tip and im like how much was it, he tells me the total and I know something is off. I asked for a receipt the waitress acted as if she was busy. I asked her again and she brought it and said “i think thats the correct one thanks” and walked away. Didn’t come back out. Once I saw the receipt I saw she tipped herself. She added 18% gratuity. Again my husband is non-confrontational but that was totally wrong of her. We were already planning to tip her good because like i said she was basically alone but the fact that she did that left a sour taste. Never going back here again that’s ridiculous.
Very pleased with this location of IHOP because it’s close to the country/my parents house and I get to take them out for breakfast. Our server was really nice. Josue was very kind attentive always smiling and happy to get us. Whatever we need. The food was hot fresh and good. We got a few orders of the country fried steak, breakfast breakfast sampler, and the Cali roasted turkey. always very good. Only thing I didn’t like is when I was person out with the iPad there was double gratuity. Gratuity already left on there. Yes we were a large party. He should’ve said gratuity added but you’re welcome to leave more but it was already on the 20% and I gave him 20% on top good server but I’m still on a budget and I wasn’t planning on tipping over 40 % Seeing that I was paying for the entire bill. I will still bring my parents back, but I will make sure if I have a large party to double check.

Late night around 11:30pm 08/10/25 wanted to get some pancakes 🥞 I got there lady at frond was very friendly. I wanted some sausage link they were out of it, fine she recommend sausage round patties, I say ok.
But I'm son sad and disappointed with my order especially those Sausage patties looks like there were from the night before they were dry over cook, and they were pick up from the waste, I get it it's late they don't want to waste food or be cooking on low hours, however all orders should be the same and meet the restaurant standard, you think I will be happy to go back. I did check my order when I was at the light. 21& 130 but didn't really wanted to go back, didn't wanted to wait even longer for my order,

My wife and I were passing through coming from a Hill Country anniversary vacation and wanted a sit down breakfast. We were surprised there was an IHOP seemingly in the middle of nowhere and hadn't ever seen one that shared the building with a convenience store/gas station. A/C was cold, the noise level was a little high, and the bacon on one of our plates was quite undercooked, but the service was great, and our bellies got full.
