The bread is fantastic! The selection is huge and priced well. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. They even have discounted loaves for $2! Including some gluten free! The baked goods behind the counter were good. Nothing super special but not bad at all. There’s not a lot of room to sit but that’s not really why you go here and if you do sit you won’t be there long so finding a spot is not really an issue. If it was closer to Austin I would go weekly but New World Deli sells their bread and you can piggyback on their orders at no cost.

I was ready to do business with them. I was happy with the bread and was given a variety of samples. My daughter and I decided on the breads we liked and placed our first order early in the week. We were supposed to pick up our order on a Wednesday but I called to let them know we had the flu and if we could pick up a couple of days later. The woman I spoke to told me it would be put in the freezer and to call before going. I called Monday morning and told the same woman that I would be going for the order but she then told me that the owner was angry cause I didn’t pick up the bread the previous Wednesday so he tossed it. I asked her why she told me it would be fine in the freezer and then it was tossed? Her answer was because she doesn’t work on Friday. I was told I had to pay for that order before I could ever go back. This business has moved up so fast and gotten contracts with the school districts and big major suppliers and have forgotten how to treat the small businesses. I will never go back and will continue to let other businesses know to go elsewhere.

Great little out of the way place. They have day-old bread and goods on Wed, Thursday, and Friday for $2 each. The bread I got was delicious.

Tried this spot for the first time today, phenomenal! Bread was great! And the variety is amazing. For a place with 4.7 Stars I’d say they’re underrated!

Twice they got my order wrong. They put me in a bad situation not getting buns for my event. I'm gonna look for a local bakery that takes pride in their work. This place is so unorganized and unprofessional.

I would have really liked to leave a positive review, unfortunately that can’t be the case here. My very first order with them was for a specific type of hotdog bun. We had an event the evening of pick up. Go to pick up, wrong order, wrong bread type. Was told how sorry they were and we were refunded. Unfortunately for us sorry doesn’t fill the order we needed that day and had to scramble last minute to find a large amount of buns. Mistakes happen, it was super inconvenient but it happens. We decide to put our trust in them yet again, this time you would think they would make sure everything was on par. That was not the case. When we arrived they shorted us a few bags, I was assured this was the correct type of bun. It wasn’t, nor were they cut. So once again we are left high and dry scrambling. Unprofessional and no customer service. I was told “ Shortages” happen bc it’s all made fresh. So if I pay for a full order and don’t get it, it’s on me? Would not recommend if you are a business owner and depend on receiving the product you order. Terrible customer service, 👎🏽

A real gem of a place, want this to stay hidden for its cheap bread and wide assortment of fresh grain products but hey, it DESERVES attention. A friend of mine put me on to this place and it’s now my go to for bread. Love it, great pastries too.

ZERO stars if I could.
I’ve been wanting to check out New World Bakery for a long time—but sadly, the experience today was a complete letdown.

There were only two of us in the place. A staff member walked out from the back, made eye contact with me… and still said nothing. Not even a hello. No smile. No acknowledgement whatsoever.

That kind of cold, dismissive energy—especially in a small business where hospitality should matter—is a huge red flag. I turned around and walked right out. If this is how you treat new faces, don’t expect them to come back.

You had your shot. You blew it.
