I ordered a moist brisket sandwich. What I got was a sandwich with very dry and tough cuts. Not enjoyable at all. I know what good BBQ is. This was not good BBQ. Very disappointed.

Our frequent go-to for dining. We love the Jumbo Baker with brisket and add some sausage on the side as well. Another go-to is the half chicken. Tasty and delicious! Never disappoints.
Bonus: Felix is always welcoming and a pleasure to chat with when we dine. He makes the dining experience much more enjoyable. Always smiling and making us feel at home.

My wife and I got cream corn, 2 smoked potatoes, and coleslaw. I am really disappointed the potatoes were hard and no smoke at all, no flavor to the corn, and lack of seasoning to the coleslaw slaw. I personally have ate at alot of Rudy's across texas and have never had this issue.. very disappointed 😞

Been here a few times. First tried the brisket, ribs & sausage. Had a sample of the turkey that was very good. Brisket thick & dry. Ribs & sausage dry also. Chewy meat that just wouldn't break down so you wouldn't be swallowing chunks. So the next couple of times just ordered the turkey. Then instead of a slices of turkey got little chunks of turkey that was so dry you almost choke. Tried them again yesterday with the brisket, ribs & sausage. Could not eat any of it. Dry, tough to chew & just awful tasting. I have spent my last dollar at this place. Love me some bar-b-que but now gotta go further than around the corner.

Come here every Saturday for sausage potato egg and cheese breakfest tacos and banana pudding. If you bring your own cup you can get a fountain drink for 75 cents as well. Would recommend anyone in the area to try out the breakfest tacos and pudding.
