Every time I go here the service is questionable. I don’t know who is managing this place but it seems like no one is. First, If you go inside no one even acknowledges you, workers will look at you then walk off into the back and pretend you aren’t there. Second, if you try ordering through the drive thru (the only place they seem to actually serve people) then they will forget half your order and you have to go back around again to get what you paid for. As someone who grew up eating tacos from here and am so happy my city got one locally, this location is very disappointing. Drive the extra 10-15 mins and go to the san marcos location by Ihop.

Went in last night and stood at front counter for at least 5 min with out being acknowledged (saw 2 employees walk by and look at us with out saying a word). Finally a 3rd employee took our order. I have to note that I did not see any sign of smiles from any one, everyone seemed upset (zero energy). Literally 27 minutes later we had our food dropped at our table with out a word. The tacos and pizza were luke warm at best. The only thing that was hot was the taquitos and queso.
I thought about saying something, but, the manager was too busy eating by the tortilla machine and did not look approachable at all. I am amazed that it looked like a ghost town in there, yet, we still waited almost half an hour for our cold food.

What can I say, it's fast food, better than Taco Bell. The tortillas beans and rice are great.. very little guacamole and the sauce on the flauta tastes just okay. The service is okay... depending on who you get. I always get the 'Cabana Sampler Plate'.
But she couldn't find it on the menu anywhere. But it is on the register I had to ask multiple times, I have been eating the cabana sampler at taco cabana for many many years. It used to be better.
I used to eat at Taco Cabana in San Antonio back in 1983, it was great!
It's still pretty good.
Accept I wish they would bring the salsa Bar back. Note: The Sala Bar is back and it's great! Thank you!!

Place is being heated by space heaters and not central air on cold mornings. We’re talking 50 degrees inside. Undercooked refried beans, can feel individual beans while chewing. Chicken fajitas being served that have sat out so long it may as well be chicken jerky. Worst taco cabana location. No issue bumping prices up, and declining quality as well. This is the expierence I’ve had every 3 out of 5 times visiting.

Teens cussing and using the N word in the back and being loud, along with them being on their phones and touching food with loud inappropriate music with cuss words while my 5 year old is hearing it all.
Not kid friendly at all and does not have any respect for their customers

There was a problem with our small order which was a computer issue and regardless if it was their fault or not they still gave us extra bacon on our tacos and extra salsa and napkins! Great service!

Manager refused to fix my order. Hung up on me every time I called. When I asked for her boss she gave me some bullshit number. Paid for extra cheese and got nothing. This store and the management are not worth my time. Will not be back!!!

I ordered online for curbside. There was no line at the drive-thru when I got there so I tried to save them the trouble of bringing my food out in the cold, but the woman at the window said my order wasn't ready and asked me to park in curbside and they'd bring it out. I just had knee replacement surgery and can't really walk so after almost ten minutes I called the store. No answer so I left a message. Five minutes later I called again and still no answer. I left another message. Five minutes later I realized I was going to have to walk inside, so I did. They said my food was ready (and cold, but they didn't mention that), that they didn't know I was there, and that they never heard the phone ring. The woman who handed me the bag of food said the words "we're sorry" but the insincerity was clear. I limped back to my car before realizing they hadn't given me my drink. I'll never go back.

Inflation affects the amount of food they give you I guess. Cabana bowls filled half way instead of full like usual. They don't give you what you asked for ( rice and beans instead of chips and queso for kids meal). Terrible feeling to wait in line so long just to get home and you have to heat up extra food for your kids cause they can't seem to do their job right.
