OMG. Absolutely amazing. The Menudo was definitely the best in town. The atmosphere was so cute and cozy, yet modern and hip. Tasted like the Mexican food you find close to border. This is our new fav restaurant in town. great breakfast tacos, and great burrito. Coming back again . This place is a hidden gem.

I really wanted to try this place! When doing so the service the food was the worst! I asked for mini tacos the meat tasted weird pastor and asada. Then i asked for a extra enchilada on the side? it was so HARD! I could not even cut into it. My kiddos the birria tacos which looked all right but again meat from that as well tasted weird. My husband the carne asada meal. All happy to get it, and the same. Apart from that he told the waitress this looks real good. She IGNORED HIM! Then no forks were given nor did she ask if we needed anything! I had to get up to get our silverware. No mind my 3 year old all happy like always telling her HI! And she just was so rude and didnt even acknowledge it! When order was taken it was in a rude way. Literally!! Again my baby said here you forgot a menu and she just snatches it! No she was not busy! When we got there we were the only ones! Then yes people start arriving after we have our food! And im not sure but this is a latino establishment and so you would think they would be fair with all!! Well the lady was NOT! The other people were not latinos and she treated them so kind! Which you expect to get treated in any place of business! I told my family lets just finish up and leave. And we can say we atleast tried another new place! Which we wont be going back!

The first thing they did was bring us some salsa, chips, and refried beans to get us started. The salsa and beans were a really nice, unexpected treat for breakfast time. The plates are prepared fresh, and everything had good flavor. I ordered the mimi tacos with barbacoa, and the cheese enchiladas had a creamy sauce that had a tasty queso flavor. Both the green and red sauce have really good flavor. The service was also good and the place was clean. Didn't get to try any flour tortillas. Maybe next time. Overall, for a quick pitstop, it was really good, and we will most likely come again.
Parking: You can miss the turn for the parking really quick coming off the access road, so keep a look out for the turn ahead of time.

I got take-out today for the first time. The birria tacos are phenomenal! They are filled full of the delicious, tender shredded beef. You can tell the birria sauce has been simmered for hours and hours when you smell it. Then when you taste it, your taste buds will sing. This has to be an old family recipe. Thank you for sharing it with us. I ate one of the three tacos and I am completely full. I am not being dramatic, this place is just that good. The quality and quantity of the food is worth every penny. You need to try this place soon.

Taqueria El Jalapeno has very delicious food, from their chips, salsa & guacamole they first bring out to your table to their birra tacos, pastor tacos, quesadillas and fajitas! Visit this place and you will not be disappointed.
Everything is outstanding, except the seating area inside, it's a bit small and they close at 3pm, too early to enjoy dinner there.

If you're not eating here, you are missing out. The tortillas were homemade and so delicious! The beans and rice were fresh and delicious. The main courses were excellent - BF loved the Al Pastor and enchiladas. We definitely will be back!
