OMG. Absolutely amazing. The Menudo was definitely the best in town. The atmosphere was so cute and cozy, yet modern and hip. Tasted like the Mexican food you find close to border. This is our new fav restaurant in town. great breakfast tacos, and great burrito. Coming back again . This place is a hidden gem.
The first thing they did was bring us some salsa, chips, and refried beans to get us started. The salsa and beans were a really nice, unexpected treat for breakfast time. The plates are prepared fresh, and everything had good flavor. I ordered the mimi tacos with barbacoa, and the cheese enchiladas had a creamy sauce that had a tasty queso flavor. I got take-out today for the first time. The birria tacos are phenomenal! They are filled full of the delicious, tender shredded beef. You can tell the birria sauce has been simmered for hours and hours when you smell it. Then when you taste it, your taste buds will sing. This has to be an old family recipe.
