I have wanted to visit this pie shop for over five years, but their limited hours always made it impossible. During a recent trip, I finally had the chance to stop in. The pies are undeniably incredible—the two five-inch pies we ordered were easily the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the product is the only thing this business has going for it. The service was nonexistent, and the staff member treated our questions as an annoyance, acting as if we were wasting her time. If it hadn’t been for a kind customer nearby raving about the food, we would have walked out empty-handed. While the pies are great, the service is awful. I’ll stop by if I’m passing through, but I certainly won’t be making the three-hour round trip just to be treated poorly.

In my perspective today the food was okay. We went on a Tuesday and the special was King ranch chicken unfortunately it was quite a letdown. We have been on Fridays and had their pot pie which was very good. Some people in our party enjoyed their box sandwiches and the price was good for the sandwich, chips and a drink. Unfortunately there was a lack of communication between the dining room people and the counter people as we were instructed that we could not sit at the two larger tables at the front of the restaurant and we were told to move. However the lady located in the dining room had instructed our party to sit at the larger tables but had failed to communicate that to the employees working the counter. As for the service from the employees working the counter, they are probably very tired as being on your feet during the entire Christmas season but the young lady that was helping out was always smiling, courteous and very patient

We are brand new to the area. We received outstanding service from Vanessa! It was our second time in, we already loved the pies - they are incredible, but the service Vanessa gave us made us feel like part of the family. She made us customers for life! This place is fantastic!
