This place needs a serious training in customer service for their employees. My daughter went in and order an item on the menu only to find out 30 minutes later that it’s not being served, She was offered at the different item, but she asked for the order to be canceled and her money returned only to learn that the cashier had no idea how to complete a Refund for an order that they never served. They have no business serving people, Zero customer service or Sense of urgency.

Painfully and confusingly slow service. Also, the cashier greeted every customer with “Are you picking up for Carlos?” instead of any greeting. I definitely witnessed the tip checking on receipts before making smoothies, so buyer beware.

I hope Carlos gets his food…

Noelle was an awesome and quick server. Normally the service here is quite slow, which I don't mind, but Noelle had my order out super fast, and was very funny and personable!!

The staff is wonderful but the smoothies lack flavor. I got a Strawberry and banana with protein and it has Zero fruit flavor.
It honestly tastes like protein and crushed ice.

I love going here for a healthy breakfast or even a snack but I’ve started to noticed something off. When I first moved to Kyle a year ago the açaí bowls were made from scratched and beautifully made and delicious. I usually don’t tip unless I dine in and the waitress is helping me since the tip system has gone crazy and you now feel forced to tip. So these past couple of times I’ve gone through the drive through. I clicked no tip and I saw the employee look at my receipt before handing it to me. And when I got home my açaí bowl was ugly, melted, got the brown part of the banana, strawberries and berries all squishy. Then I went today and I clicked no tip and again I saw the employee looked at my receipt before handing it to me and my açaí bowl was all melted and my fruit was sunken in. Now I’m afraid if the employees are spitting on them if you don’t tip or something. Please management talk to your employees about not being pity when people don’t tip. Y’all can’t not force the tipping system on people.

Got an Açai bowl and it was pre made and then frozen so it was all icee :( i’ve been to other locations where they make it fresh and it’s so good a little disappointed. Also the portion was smaller than the locations in

Today is Friday, June 14, 2024. I went through the drive through at approximately 9:10 AM and was told my order total was $32.43. I received my food but was not offered a receipt so I asked for it. The total on my receipt was $37.29. The girl had given herself a $4.86 tip without my knowledge or consent. I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. I told her giving yourself money from my account without my approval is stealing. She RELUCTANTLY voided the receipt and charged me the correct amount.

Third strike! I used to love Tropical Smoothie. Like, eat there 3+ times a week love it. I don't know if it's just this location or all of them, but I will not be returning. They are notorious for 45 minute waits, and made me late for work and school on more than one occasion. Rarely answer their phone, even when you curbside order and it says to call. I had Uber delivery one of their smoothie bowls and a breakfast sandwich. They forgot the sandwich and the smoothie bowl was very, very expired. Today I watched them put a tablespoon of smoothie base in a Bahama Mama. It's was just pink tap water at that point. Sunny D has more juice in it, how can you call it a smoothie if you're not putting fruit in it? Manager and staff was very nice, but y'all need to get it together. And put the fruit back in your $9 cup of dirty tap water!

I love the food here and the service is usually okay and never horrible. That is until yesterday. BEWARE when using the Tropical Smoothie app to purchase food at this particular store. I had an incident when my husband and I went to pick up our order minutes after submitting it. I was told someone had already picked up our order. The most confusing part was they said it was a Door Dasher. I don’t understand how that could happen when I don’t use that service. We specifically used the Tropical Smoothie Cafe app. This made us lose all trust in this location which is a bummer because I really love the food and smoothies and wanted to continue business. Additionally, the two ladies there acted dismissively. They did remake our order which I’m very grateful for, however, one of the women snapped at my hungry husband and slammed the window on him while he was speaking. That solidified our decision to not spend our money at this location. I hope for improvement in their online ordering process and customer service!
