Chicharron en salsa verde is the best from here! No other breakfast place compares. Tacos are $1.75 for chicharron, I suppose since they are specialty. And Gorditas at $2.00 no matter the kind.

Very disappointed and disgusted with D Rick's tacos. A couple of days ago I bought two chicharron tacos for breakfast. When I got home my wife opened the tacos to pour some salsa and what she found was horrendous. If you're familiar with chicharrones prensados, then you know how they're made and what they're made of. These tacos had pansas de menudo mixed in with the chicharrones. I don't know if it was used as a filler or what heck. My wife then checked the other taco and it was even worse. It had a fly in it. D Rick's ownership must do something about this issue immediately or they'll lose all of their clients.

Lady was very rude and could drop the attitude. She was very discriminating towards me for being from a different cultural background. Overcharged me $25 for 14 tacos when the tacos are less than a dollar each. Sad because i once spoke highly of the place an it was my favorite taco stand in all of RGV but now it is my least favorite and i will tell everyone to avoid it from now one.

They used to be really good but are getting a bit slack especially the newer employees. The cook is still pretty good.
