I've been in largo Vista for a month, and I wish I had visited Baker's Brisket earlier! My doodle and I visited them today. Their brisket and pulled pork are to die for! Amazingly soft, moist and flavorful, served by the most friendly and lovely couple I've met in a long time.I moved here from Austin, and I can say with certainty that their brisket - and service - are far better than Rudy's or Franklin's or Stiles Switch.
The barbecue here is the real deal. I had the 2 meat plate with ribs, brisket, Mexican street corn, and beefy baked beans. The ribs were about as tender as they could be without actually falling of the bone and very juicy. The seasoning is perfect, just a smidge north of mild. The brisket was juicy with lots of flavor. Mexican street corn was really good, the sauce that they put on it explodes with flavor.

Soooo good! Stopped here on our drive home from marble falls. The pork ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the elote is so smoky and delicious! I usually never get smoked chicken, but theirs was out of this world tender. We also got the brisket, burnt ends, and pulled pork sandwich and all were equally delicious!
