I am a 56 year old native Texan and JJ’s hamburgers are AMAZING !Simple old fashioned burgers that are perfect every single time. The french fries are too. Always fresh & hot, never greasy, don’t smell or taste of other food, crisp on the outside & soft on the inside - absolutely incredible! The chopped BBQ sandwiches are great, the fully loaded baked potatoes are big enough for two people & fantastic and the breakfast tacos (should be called burritos) are awesome.Colton is the BEST !! He answers the phone, puts in orders and even fills orders. The busiest day of ... EVER (total eclipse) he answered the phone (after busy signal for 30 minutes) and was as calm & friendly as ever. He always gets our order right, he’s always patient even though I can hear chaos in the background, he speaks clearly & slowly and remembers me even though we only order twice a month.

Everyone reading this, do not go by the prices advertised on their website. I used to love this place, you just lost a long time customer. You can blame the young man with the mustache that works the counter for that too. If this was my establishment, I would flat out fire him or maybe offer him better training. His customer service skills are horrendous. He kept telling me it would be 10 minutes even though I called it in and my order was waiting in the food warmer the entire time. Back to the original complaint, they are knowingly advertising incorrect prices. When you bring it to their attention, they will say that they are separately owned from the one in Cedar Park, even though that one is closed and the prices are shown on THEIR Largo Vista store's website. Not Cedar Park's. It's a flat out lie. You should be honest in your advertising. You even had the nerve to blame me for advertising the wrong price. To be told there's nothing you can do after being charged even though the price is completely different than what is shown, and then tell me you don't price match. Who are you price matching? Your the one advertising it!! I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as disputing with my credit union the difference in price advertised vs what was charged.

What a shame... First time there and was told my service dog wasn't allowed, so I didn't get to try thier highly recommended food. The person behind the counter was pretty rude about it, so I didn't bother arguing with her and just left... ftr - my disability is legit; although not visible- not that it should matter ;)Just a heads-up for my disabled friends out there... not a disability friendly place imo.
Totally bummed the Cedar Park location closed, but these breakfast tacos are worth the drive to Lago Vista!!

This barbecue place is OK. It's not my favorite in town but I have friends who prefer this barbecue. The spice level here is a bit low so if you are hot spice adverse, this may work for you. The ribs here are not quite tender enough for me. I think this is more like gas station food that is convenient while traveling than a place you would go specifically for the food, but it is OK, just not great in my opinion. The atmosphere feelt a bit hectic on my last visit, the counter staff was stressed and ticket times were a bit long.But hey, at least this place has indoor toilets and clean facilities, because that's more than the barbecue food truck option down the street.

I liked this place, it's small and cozy, quick to get the orders out, nice hot food, $$, worth it though, I got a sliced beef sandwich for myself and doggie scraps for my dog Lenny... The lady (owner) was very concerned for Lenny's weight, eating the mostly fatty scrapes, I assured her that Lenny would be fine. We ate outside on the patio it was close to lunch rush but the owner told us to take our time and to enjoy our lunch!! She was Soo sweet!! Good food, pricey but worth it. Very small dining area but always busy, great menu as well. Try it! y'all will like it!!

I’ve been stopping by JJs for a long time and the taste of the smoked meats are pretty darn good. The brisket sandwich is large and filling, gotta request the sauce and pickes and onions though. I noticed they posted a sign for expanded hours and expanding the menu to TACOS! I love a great Pastor Taco, and the don’t fail on the meat portion and taste. I’ve ordered it twice now and it is very tasty. They are a bit stingy on salsa adding 50 cents for an additional sauce to the one they offer with the taco, but you have to request it as well, and today on my second order they failed to put it in the bag after I requested it and also they missed on my request for the taco on flour tortillas as the corn tortillas fail to hold the goodies inside! Again , 10 out of 10 of n the flavor of the pork, but they did miss on some of the execution. It is Sunday and they did sound busy, so I love their smoky goodness!!!
