It's genuine Hispanic food but was very bland and small portions. On the other end of the restaurant is a meat market and wouldn't change that part for anything. Very very good selection and so good over the grill. Staff is very friendly and was patient when trying to order or pick what meat I was craving
If your making tacos or anything else for that matter, go ahead and stop because El Centro has it on lock. This cheap Mexican dinner/market is absolutely the BEST part about Lake Dallas! Carne asada taco on corn tortilla for $1 !!! Fajita meat option is amazing and you can buy some from the meat market and make it at home. All I had to do was put it on the grill and it was amazing. I've even gotten all of the guys from my job eating there too.
Small family owned place. Don't have many choices but what they have is very good. It is a meat market of sorts with a small restaurant attached. Service was awesome and very friendly. Will be going back.
