My sister and I came from out of town to visit family and came across this restaurant in a Google search. We were very excited to try this place. It said it was open (this was on a Monday) and it was, but not the kitchen. Just the patio for happy hour. This was not mentioned on the website. I am sure there is a lot to recommend them, however, having accurate information on the website is important in this day and age.

Been waiting to try this place after seeing all the pictures on Facebook. I was a bit disappointed. Started with the fried brie appetizer. Was surprised that for 20 dollars it was 3 small cubes of fried brie that was cold inside, the raspberry sauce was very good though. I got the prime rib bowl for my meal. The meat was a bit chewy and the bread bowl was so hard I could barely cut it which is surprising with the amount of gravy on it. If I go back I may try the club sandwich as that looked really good. The service was great and the staff seemed to be working pretty hard.

This is one of my favorite local places to go. The prime rib in a bread bowl is a fantastic idea and is very tasty! Support local businesses because they are unique in menu and atmosphere.

They reopened, so I stopped in to see new place and order my favorite pesto grilled chicken pasta dish...to find its No Longer on the menu (when shows online as still on the menu). Best grilled Chicken dish! why do restaurants think they have to make changes, Or remove one of the best dishes on the menu in the name of New/Change... place look3d nice but was so set on getting that dish, I left and went the Duck Inn an old time favorite and still great!

restraunt smells like cigarette smoke. needs better exhaust fans. need air curtains on doors so the flies won't come in. the hostess desk is to close to the first table which makes it hard to have a conversation. remodel is nice but way to dark inside. makes it look like a cave. food is still not all that.

Very disappointed with the re-opening. Food isn’t the same. Not as good and the service was zero. Waitress completely abandoned us. No manager or owner ever came around. Finally some other waitress got our check. The excuse was a party of 15 came in. So what I heard was, they were more important than us so we were dumped.
He (Walter?) just rebuilt after a fire and the whole place is new. Well, not the old bar but everything else is new. Service is great! Our server was super sweet she provided the perfect amount of attention. The food is from scratch and he has a brick pizza oven on the new patio. Give it a shot, my wife and I are going to come back.

Stopped in last night just to check it out. Had never been there. Was met with a welcoming atmosphere, and shock that we had never been there! We ordered some food, (Reuben sandwich and onion rings, and steak sandwiches and fries… and hush puppies) a drink and everything was excellent. Came out fast and hot! We will definitely will be back! 😊
