DoubleDave's Pizzaworks

Our family has been to this location at least 5 times in the last 12 months. We used to eat at the one on Research Blvd near Anderson Mill but it became unreliable.

This location however has gone from being good to becoming an excellent place to dine in. I can’t speak in take out so this is solely based on eating inside.

The ppl taking orders are always nice and patient. The restaurant is always clean. The music is always on but at a low level. There is plenty of room inside for multiple families to dine in.

Now for the food. Their pizza is good across the board but especially at this location. The salad bar is also very good with fresh vegetables. I have zero complaints about the food here.

CONS:
Every restaurant could improve on something and this place shares a single problem I have that is really annoying but all locations have it so I did not include this in my star rating. The napkins are horrible. Hard to deal with, unsanitary, and feel like sandpaper. Please fix this! Just regular napkins will do fine.

One more suggestion COKE PRODUCTS.

Vegetarian options: You can make your own pizza and there are vegetarian options as well.

The inside was very clean. The bar is very fresh. The service was excellent. This is a smaller double Dave's. I was surprised, but the food was great. The salad bar was fabulous,so it made up for it.

No parmesan or butter on the cheese rolls. If the company has certain ways to make the food, it’s your responsibility as a franchisee to maintain that quality and maintain consistency and I feel like The effort that this place is putting into making the food is ridiculously low. I used to work for a double Dave’s And I can tell you these rolls aren’t up to par.

Even with lots of doordashers picking up and a later time of night, the staff was friendly and got me in and out really quickly without making me feel rushed. If you're looking for great flavor, great people, and great deals checkout this pizza shop! I love the pepperoni rolls on Tuesdays ?

Parking: Plenty of handicap spots which is helpful for when I want to bring my parents!

i went for pizza rolls on my lunch break from work. the dude at the counter didn’t bother even get off the phone when he was taking my order and he continued his phone call while the person behind me was ordering as well. wait time was longer than usual when i visit other locations - it says they are hiring maybe just understaffed but that doesn’t excuse the mediocre customer service. food was decent.

This review is location specific. I have never gotten good service here whether my order isn't ready in timeor problems paying, but this last time I watched the man make my salad at the salad bar touching it with his fingers on the way back getting the lettuce into the container then at the counter continued to touch the cucumbers and lettuce forcing it in to the container. When I exclaimed "you're touching all of my food" he said that his hands were clean because he's been making pizza all day... gross man.

A small pizza and a drink is 17 dollars? Then while trying to get a to go box I had to literally yell at an employee watching videos on his phone to get his attention.... after opening and closing the front door several times to make the door chime go off. It was like he did not give on care in the world about anyone walking thru the front door let alone someone asking for service that was less then 15 yards from him.

Slightly heart broken about our experience on a Friday night. It has been many years since I have been to a DD and I have amazing memories of going for Pizza, Beer and games. It used to be a solid start to a Friday night. I drove past this location in the morning and was excited that it was there. I told our kids to get ready for a great time. Well, when we got there at 715 pm all the chairs were on the table and it looked like it was closed. I was told they were up because they just cleaned the floors. Maybe they did, but I also worked in pizza joints when I was young and I know this trick all too well. We took chairs down and waited for our food. The salad bar has been reduced to a hospital cafeteria style. The condiments on our table where almost empty and looked like they could use a good cleaning, especially the cheese.When the food came it was in to go boxes which is not a big deal and again I know why (i hated dished too) but its just nothing like it used to be.The kid working the front was average at best and also wore a MASSIVE hunting knife on his belt. Again, totally fine but certainly didnt help the already lame atmosphere. When we left I looked and him and said good bye and got nothing back. Again, i guess that is fine, I am just comparing past experiences with this one.Pizza and Pizza rolls were great, just like I remembered!!We will for sure order take out again but if you are looking for a pizza joint experience you wont find it there.
