Definitely not Tex-Mex but very good food.
Had fajita tacos, wife had cheese enchilada and a chalupa. Do not have crispy tacos. Salsa and chips were good.

Best food in the Lakeway area. Been regularly eating here for many years and Santa Catarina never disappoints. It is a bit noisy inside when it's busy, so plan to sit outside or go when it's slow if you're hard of hearing.

I visited this restaurant about three years ago and wanted to mention this was the best Mexican food I ever had. I am from out of state and would love to visit this place when I visit Austin next time.

We were recommended by friends to try this place — and wow, we were not disappointed! We sat at the bar, and Jose was our server. He was absolutely amazing — super knowledgeable about the menu (we had lots of questions since it was our first time in), very attentive, and so easy to talk to.

The drinks were delicious and strong, and the food was incredible! I’m normally a Tex-Mex lover, but this authentic Mexican cuisine totally won me over.

I can’t stop bragging on Jose — he was hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this spot!!

I visited this restaurant for the first time with two friends, and as a Latina, I have to say I was disappointed. The food didn’t taste authentic Mexican to me. However, the waitress was very nice and even offered us a sample of guacamole, which I appreciated.

Part of the Lakeway community for many years, Santa Caterina consistently delivers excellent food and service every single visit. Staff are helpful and make everything enjoyable. Happy hour specials are fantastic any the atmosphere is always welcoming and lively. Highly recommended!
