First time visiting this location! Great place to watch games! Great service & yummy tacos, as usual! Thanks Taco Flats!

The first time I had the Al pastor taco it was awesome. Pork was juicy and fresh and the seasonings were incredible. The past two times we have come here and ordered the same taco it was dry and had chewy pieces. I think they get their meat from their other location and it just didn't seem as fresh last night (Friday) or last Saturday when we brought friends. Also noticed their flour tortillas are hard; not as fresh as they used to be. Sad because we loved this place. The drinks are killer, bartenders are quick. However we have waited over 20 - 30 mins lately for our tacos which seems like a very long wait for 4 tacos. Servers and bartenders are always friendly, but the kitchen needs to up their game. There were also a ton of chips on the floor in the kitchen area, could be cleaner.

Terribly disappointed. The worst service I've ever encountered and we eat out a lot. Food was also not good. They were out of pork and since I don't eat beef, I asked if they could substitute chicken. Waiter told me no even though chicken is on their menu. We were wondering why the place was empty. Now we know why. I strongly suggest not wasting your time or money eating here.

We picked a freezing afternoon to check out the Lakeway Taco Flats, and entered to a warm welcome from the friendly employees. The restaurant is surprisingly large with relaxing decor and has a full bar with seating along the back, along with multiple tables and chairs. Multiple TVs are mounted on each wall, and each displayed a sports channel, except the one with a film loop of a flickering fireplace.Their menus include a separate brunch and all-day menu, with creative tacos on your choice of flour or corn tortillas. Each breakfast/brunch taco includes scrambled eggs. They also have soup and the most amazing daily greens salad, with walnuts and a plethora of fruits and veggies and citrus dressing. Their chips and salsa are homemade, just the right amount of heat and flavor, with a chili pepper coating on the tortilla chips. Drinks range from tap beer to craft cocktails, which you can peruse on their drink menu. Taco Flats is a bit of an upgrade from similar other local taco places, like Torchy's and Taco Deli. It's also a bit more expensive. A light lunch for two and a mixed drink ran us about $40 plus tip. They also will prepare orders to go, and have a separate to-go counter at the far right corner of the bar. Parking is available free in the shopping center lot.

We have been meaning to try this place for awhile. Well, today was the big day. We went for an early-ish lunch and everything was AMAZING!! Clean, great service and fantastic food! We had the trio -salsa (it's def on the spicy side), queso and guacamole. Great flavors and generous sizes for the price! They also serve in a to-go container so super easy to add the top and bring home the left overs. The tortillas were fresh and delicious. I had corn and hubby had flour and loved them both. The meat was really flavorful and the serving sizes were fantastic!! Highly recommend this local, family owned restaurant. They take pride in grandma's (Abuela) recipes!!

The food here is delicious, I just have one minor complaint..........the Queso could use more cheese!!!!! The chips are super good!!! Service is good and staff are welcoming. The restaurant is just a tad industrial and not being much of an interior designer, I have no idea what to suggest.I will continue to frequent Taco Flats though, keep up the good work

The food is good. Service is attentive. Drinks are fitting for the food and margaritas hand made. Recommend this restaurant

Currently rating for: 11/19/2023I love the panchos here!! Queso is also ?? haven't had a bad order yet ?Howeverrrr.... The first problem I've had recently was initially the $9.00 delivery fee for door dash... which I see has been recently reduced to $7.49. I pay for premium so usually don't choose to order from restaurants... but I would for those panchos if the fee weren't so dang high ?So I've chosen to order pickup through doordash now instead, to avoid the delivery fee but also to enjoy the convenience of placing the order on the go and grabbing it quickly in passing on my way home. My second problem, and the reason for my not rating 5⭐️ across the board, is now the panchos have been removed from door dash completely...I figured posting here might actually get to someone, rather than rating on door dash. So here's to hoping you guys monitor these...***I'll 10000% update the review/rating if these issues can get addressed. ??‍??
