Toscano is a warm and inviting restaurant with standard Italian fare. It's a nice local restaurant, but lacks a creative menu. If you are craving classic Italian dishes Toscano will hit the spot.

Amazing spaghetti. I love the sauce. My wife had the beet salad and it was really fresh.

Went for dinner tonight (5/11/19) and Toscano is closed. They were removing kitchen equipment, appears to be a permanent closing.

Waaaay overpriced for average Italian food. I paid $18 for a lunch salad which was actually the size of a small dinner side salad. This is a lunch 'special'?? Bread was not offered...nor given unless requested by the customer. Won't be returning here again but at this rate they will be closed in 6 months. The lunch crowd was 10 people at 12:30 so apparently my review is not too far off base. There are too many good places in this area to dine at instead.

Excellent service from Marshall at the bar. Great Italian with seafood being my fav. Good wine list, including port , which puts it high on my list. Repeat dining a must.

Dropped by for lunch and left feeling very satisfied and impressed. Stars are well deserved. It's refreshing to see a good Italian place that focuses on the little details and makes sauces from scratch. First off, the Caesar salad was outstanding. Fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes with just the right amount of an outstanding, homemade, salad dressing. This was a great way to start the meal. Spaghetti and meatballs - excellent! A simple dish made perfect by a very delicious homemade sauce and freshly cooked meatballs. The Sausage rigatoni was a very pleasant surprise. Italian sausage, mushrooms, capers, feta cheese in a light white wine sauce. Exceptional mix of flavors. The sausage had a little kick but wow is it good. If you're looking for something different, give this dish a try. Service was prompt and pleasant. My only suggestion is to add a few more dishes to the lunch menu. Would love to see chicken parmigiana for instance.

This restaurant has really improved! I have eaten here multiple times in the past few months and even hosted/sponsored events at this location, and the service and food is excellent! Ignore the bad reviews that may be listed and give this family owned local business a shot! You won't regret it!

What a great neighborhood restaurant. The staff is super friendly (special shout outs to Marshall, Jose, Cheryl and Marcus). The menu has lots of Italian and non Italian options and a fabulous wine selection. They have an outdoor patio area that was so cute, but unfortunately it was too cold at the time to enjoy, but I would love to go back and sit outside. I had the special one night, which was fish, with vegetable stuffing and cauliflower puree, OMG so good! We also met the manager Cat who is super sweet and attentive to her clientele. This is a can't miss place.

Perfect Valentine's Day and birthday dinner. Food was delicious and the service was even better. I had made reservations in advance and the owner saved us the best table. Really grateful that everything was perfect. We will be back! Pasta carbonara and calamari are to die for! Yum!! Oh and those rolls. So good.

Good, not great Italian food. Everyone was nice but service was VERY slow and our dinner plates set in front of us for over 15 min. We asked for a to-go box for one of the meals and it was never brought and we saw other plates stacked on top of it. 50/50 if we give it another try.

First off, their prices are about 15% too high. For that alone I would expect much better service. That didn't happen. The bartender was our waiter and had 3 other tables besides those sitting at the bar. I'm sorry but 90 minutes for dinner for two people is way too long. "Would you like bread for the table?" Really, you have to ask? AND when it did come it was two little rolls with butter. So don't ask since you're not giving much out. Just put the two little rolls on the table. I mean it. I would say the square rolls are half the size of a normal biscuit? The food was just ok. I had the fish special and my husband had pasta with pesto cream sauce and very well done chicken pieces in it. He said the chicken was grilled too long so the pieces were very dry and tough. Too much sauce on the pasta also. Anyhow, just disappointed with a $75 dollar meal for two people that was mediocre and where service didn't match those high prices.
