I placed an order for Mughlai chicken and curry leaf chicken both are too oily the package is in such a way the oil from package fall on my eating area which took me half hour just to clean it. I never comment on food anywhere but here it is too bad,too oily, too salty and the person who is working didn’t even responded properly for questions I asked, I thought of adding 2 to 3 desserts but I didn’t because of his no response. I can understand working whole day on weekend need lot of efforts but giving response would be really appreciated. I hope with this review you guys reduce oil and salt from food
I have order Kheema Briyani yesterday thru Uber eats food not cooked properly. Today I had water diarrhea, not sure how this guys running business with poor food quality and lack Hygiene. I have submitted food safety complaint application on Desi Chowrastha. You need to maintain standards on Food and dont play with customers health.
I ordered the Goat Palau and Chicken Juicy Mandi and unfortunately, both dishes were a major disaster.
The Chicken Juicy Mandi was overly watery — it felt more like chicken soup than a flavourful mandi. The rice was soggy and lacked any real depth or spice. The chicken itself was bland and didn’t seem fresh.
Even worse, the Goat Palau tasted off — like it had gone bad. The meat had an unpleasant smell and taste, and I couldn’t even finish it. For a place that seems to specialize in traditional dishes, the quality was seriously disappointing.
And the goat Palau rice was like very smelly, and then it’s gone bad. How can they serve for the customers like this?
Dear not worth the money, and I won’t be coming back.
I had Jalapeño Chicken and it was delicious 🤤 I loved the services and the food is amazing!
Chicken quality is not good, I can sense that its not fresh chicken, not good for kids
We went to chowrasta for dinner after an exhaustive grocery day. My husband & I got diarrhoea. We kept on pooping (sorry - TMI) untill all the food we had there was out of our systems.
In this day and age when there so much awareness about microplastics - this place serves super hot sambhar/chicken curry in cheap plastic containers and even the cutlery is plastic. Like - use real utensils.
The people at cash register have really bad attitude.
It was really hot & noisy in there.
Unfortunately if Desi Brothers is last on your shopping list - you have a little choice to not go there.
I am definitely not going there again.
Today I ordered vegetarian Man, OnePlus one offer from Uber when I tried especially cauliflower Manchuria . I felt like you guys added egg. I am a vegetarians and I’m completely disappointed that you guys added egg in the vegetarian recipe and also before that you would have mentioned that you are adding again that it would be good but why are you selling the product as a vegetarian? I ordered for the first time and I’m I’m never going to order from you guys. I’m completely disappointed.
Good Indian food. Especially night times environment is great
I bought chicken majestic , got about 400g honestly the chicken was very blant !ike what kids eat ! NEVER TRYING THE appetizers ! $12 cost was good but it was not at all spicy not even salt
Empty store, but telling me 25 mins to make 1 dosa. That too very rule, seemed like racist to me.
Dosa is pretty bad too.
Restaurantji Recommends
It is not very good taste to compared with Dallas iraani chai but it is very good taste in all over Austin restaurants.
Just okay!
New update: recently ordered veg mandi which is really flavourful and I would recommend to try it definitely.
Frequently visited Indian food to have, I like chicken dum biryani, Andhra chicken curry.
The experience was fantastic. We arrived at the place around 11:30 pm, and despite the late hour, the staff was surprisingly welcoming. Although a few items weren’t available, they went out of their way to create modified versions based on our requests. The cashier, in particular, was exceptionally friendly. We sampled many dishes but didn’t manage to take pictures of everything. However, you really can’t go wrong with any of the items. Be sure to try the Osmania biscuits—they taste just like the ones you’d find in Hyderabad.

Legit Indian place. Food on the spicier side but tolerable and very flavorful.
