I had the tikka masala and my husband had vindaloo both with chicken, both were delicious. You choose mild, medium, spicy or extra spicy. We both got medium and it was perfect. We also had the garlic nana bread (yummy and enough for 2 or 3 people.

While on a business trip to Austin, we were craving India one night. We reached Tarka only to realize that it is not a full sit down restaurant. Rather you order from the menu at the counter and then they come and serve the food to you. They have a decent but small selection of beer and wine. The food was actually pretty good. We tried their salads, dal, channa masala, aloo gobi and the soups. We ordered a roti to go along with it and it comes with rice. Service was quick and attentive. Food tasted good.

I was surprised to find this Indian fast food place, I didn't know about them till I went to Texas, I loved it. I have been in India and my favorite meal while there as the curry paneer, I really ate it most of my time in New Delhi. If you are looking for a tasting India out of India you should go for. If I am back in Texas this will be my restaurant, the price is another plus.
