Went for our first time Sunday morning. The people that run this truck are so nice! They were patient with all of our questions about the menu. The tacos are so yummy! The truck is so clean inside, there’s a cute little covered dining area with a tv. Will 100% come here again!

Let me start by saying I was born in Austin. So Tex mex is a huge part of my life. But I prefer authentic and flavorful. This place is both of those. I’m a little overwhelmed even thinking about what to touch on because there are so many good things. #1 obviously family run. My food was hot (drove 20 minutes before I got to try) sooo good. I got 3 Al pastor tacos bc I love those and I knew what they were. And one Campechano (their named taco) my goodness, it was so tender and good and not chewy. They make their own tortillas and their featured taco is like tender lean brisket and another meat on bottom. Just so authentic and good. So anyways, I only grabbed one bag and left my rice and beans and when I came back they made me an off menu item and she wanted me to try it as a peace offering. And I was not even mad bc both the tacos I ate were delicious and the salsa was fresh and vibrant. She made me a stuffed pablano and I think it should be a menu item bc it was just truly delicious. If you want a delicious home cooked taco then skip Texas taco and get here as fast as you can. ??????

Very nice family owned business! The breakfast tacos were great and the tortilla was homemade. Their salsa is spicy but so fresh and herbaceous! Don’t sleep on their chicken tamales. It’s fire and I haven’t had a tamale this good since the valley.
