The pizza was good. Not the best I've ever had, but for the Northern Austin area, better than most!One word of caution. Do NOT order through Slice, the pizza delivery company. We were supposed to receive our pizzas between 5:50 and 6 and, after calling Giovanni's half a dozen times (ok, one knock on the restaurant, answer your dang phones guys) I found out that Slice never sent someone to pick up our pizzas. We typically enjoy this place. It’s nice that it’s right by the house and it’s pretty good food for a restaurant attached to a gas station mart. I was pretty disappointed this time around. I ordered the linguini scampi with chicken and asked to sub fresh tomato for the sun dried it comes with. What I received was not what I expected. The sauce is red (supposed to be garlic butter). I admit it could be the tomatoes, but it’s spicy which is not what a garlic butter sauce...
