Great fresh donuts. They now make donuts with a ring pop in the middle that my kids love, super unique and fun for the kids!

Love their donut holes. However, I came this morning around 5:20am and they were supposed to be open at 5am and the door was locked. Someone is in the back and so I called but they wouldn’t pick up. Needed to pick up donuts at a certain time so now I’ll have to go to a competitor. ?

It was good. They had the a/c on so the doughnuts weren't melty. They were nice and fresh!
The very BEST filled donuts in the Leander/Cedar Park Area. They fill the donuts with their great fillings when you order so they are soft but not soggy. Also Love the Mega Boudin Kolaches. The Croissant breakfast sandwiches are incredible. Do NOT buy the breakfast tacos, horrible. Why Grand Donuts are you going out of your lane with tacos? Buy 2 of everything else but no tacos. I go at least 2 Saturdays a month and everything is gone by Monday.

The kolache bakes literally tasted like plastic and rotten eggs. Throwing away. Don’t want food poisoning. Waste of money. ?

So I checked online to see when they opened, it said 5am. I thought cool I have lots to do today. I show up at 5:15, they are closed. I see people inside, they notice me and indicate they will open at 6. (BTW the hours posted on the door said 5am as well. ) Strike one. Against my better judgment I return at 6. They have an extremely limited supply of donuts. I ask when they would have my favorites. In an hour they say. Really?? Strike 2. So I decide to get some less desirable (IMHO) donuts. She says oh you can't use a debit card for less than $5 (my purchase $4+) Would you like more of the donuts you really didn't want in the first place?? (Ok the last part was my paraphrasing her statement. ) Strike 3 I'm out. Won't be going back to Not So Grand Donuts. The worst part was the nonchalant attitude from both of the people working.

So I stopped going to the Grand donuts on Bagdad st cuz they raised the price of a plain bisquit n sausage to $4 n change, so I decided to go to the one on Heros way I got the same thing plus a cinnamon roll n it was $4.55 he would not take my card for that amount he said there is a $5 limit so for 5 cents he didnt take my card. So he has lost a customer for 5 cents. What a disappointment!!!!

Love the place, good donuts. I could be bias as it is the place I went to as a kid. But good nonetheless
