Many items on their menu feel overpriced. Not expensive, just overpriced for value. Similar as with Sushi to the Moon. And I got an unagi roll with barely a pinch of unagi. Basically paid for rice and avocado.

Kai sushi is always solid. The staff is super attentive, polite, and friendly. The food is fresh and the crispy rice appetizer is a great palette starter and the establishment is clean. Highly recommend for lunch/dinner that’s both delicious and reasonably priced.

Kai Sushi has become more than just a restaurant for our family. it’s a place filled with happiness and special memories. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and amazing, and the tonkatsu and udon are dishes our kids love as much as we do. Our 5year daughter even says that visiting Kai Sushi is the happiest moment of her life. Very affordable and fresh sushi without cutting corners. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was very peaceful and comfortable. The 5 piece + specialty roll lunch combination came with some amazing nigiri pieces you would normally be paying a whole lot more for anywhere else. Would highly recommend!

The best sushi in Leander. Hidden away, but a truly excellent menu with with great service. It’s our no-brainer sushi choice when the cravings hit.
We went to Kai for the first time tonight with some friends who visit there frequently. I was so impressed with the kindness and service Jenny gave us- so above and beyond. The food was very good and well presented. Will definitely revisit when we are in the area, and strongly recommend to others.
