Many items on their menu feel overpriced. Not expensive, just overpriced for value. Similar as with Sushi to the Moon. And I got an unagi roll with barely a pinch of unagi. Basically paid for rice and avocado.
Kai sushi is always solid. The staff is super attentive, polite, and friendly. The food is fresh and the crispy rice appetizer is a great palette starter and the establishment is clean. Highly recommend for lunch/dinner that’s both delicious and reasonably priced.
Kai Sushi has become more than just a restaurant for our family. it’s a place filled with happiness and special memories. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and amazing, and the tonkatsu and udon are dishes our kids love as much as we do. Our 5year daughter even says that visiting Kai Sushi is the happiest moment of her life. That kind of joy says everything about the quality of the food and the warmth of the chef, who makes every visit feel so welcoming.
