This is such a cool ice cream spot!! My kids had their strawberry ice cream and it was amazing, the perfect amount of sweetness and natural flavored. I got a Rusa, it’s a very refreshing delicious carbonated drink with fruit! The owner was so nice and answered any questions we had about the menu, we will be coming back soon and recommend to anyone it’ll be a summer trip for those hot days!!

Physical therapy was horrible but Loly's Ice cream after made my day! We walked in and had the best customer service, the guy was so patient and answered all of our questions. I had the Rusa, so refreshing and delicious, husband had the mangonadas. Everything was fresh and delicious, I'm so grateful to have Loly's here and will be coming back regularly!!!

So disappointed .... went to location in Leander today and it was clearly closed. I checked yelp and realized that it had closed down. Please let the world know if they are still going to market (because I've only been to the Leander location.).

This business serves the best tamales I've had in Central Texas. I haven't had an opportunity to visit this year, but I stopped at their Mueller pop-up several times last year. I placed a particularly large order last Christmas, and the tamales were a big hit for the out of town visitors. When I picked up my order last year, I distinctly remember how cold it was outside. It was well below freezing, especially when factoring the wind. Most of the Mueller market vendors had either not made it out that day, and many others had simply left early. The owner of Tamale Place, however, did not want to leave his orders unfulfilled, so he was out there in a jacket and taking care of his customers. That type of dedication to completing work is something that will stick with me for quite some time. Therefore, I sincerely hope that the other reviews on here are inaccurate. I'm hoping that this business is still going strong and will continue to earn the accolades that they deserve. If they are still around, please support them. I personally plan on checking the farmers' market this weekend, and I hope to see them. If not, I wish every person that's a part of Tamale Place a Merry Christmas, and I also wish them well. I'll be on the lookout this weekend, however. I'd hate to burn down my kitchen trying to make tamales on my own...

Could very possibly be the best tamales I've ever had. They seem pricey, but they are huge, one tamale is almost a dinner. Do yourself a favor and try the different types they offer. Didn't think I would like the spinach and rice but they were excellent.
