The guy that brought me my order was wearing flip flops with his feet out in the kitchen. I reached out to corporate but never heard anything back

I normally don’t have issues with most Marcos pizzas but this one is CONSISTENTLY giving me problems. I ordered yesterday and the website said it was ready for pick up. I show up and there was NO ONE at the store and a “will be back in 10 mins” sign. Just saying someone could’ve easily got into the cash register and walked away. I received my pizza 30 min past after I arrived to where it was luke warm. Then while I was trying to get a refund, due to the fact that my pizza was cold the employee barely spoke English and the majority of the time just stared at me and kept saying sorry. Then I get home and the order was wrong and then today my entire family has food poisoning. Corporate needs to look into this location.
Stopped by this Marco’s Pizza location and had a very frustrating experience. When we arrived, no one was at the counter—just a handwritten sign saying “Will be back in 10 mins.” Then he PULLED UP IN HIS CAR. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes before someone returned. There was only one employee working, and he did not speak English well, making it extremely difficult to get updates or clarification about our order. An Uber driver even left because he couldn’t get his food. My husband’s order was also delayed. Poor staffing and lack of clear communication made this visit very disappointing.
Update: we got food poisoning!!!!

Service is terrible

The pepperoni pizza was good and the crust was above average. The pepperoni bread was very good. The Caesar salad (family size) was a large portion and fresh. Even better the dressing was quality ingredients-made with extra virgin olive oil instead of vegetable, palm or canola oil. Nice. Pizza was ready when promised.

Marcos is our favorite pizza, and while we typically carry out, the last couple of times we've ordered we have been unable to pick up and selected delivery. We ordered over an hour before requested delivery times both times, and the first delivery arrived nearly 45 minutes late. Today, I'm nearly 45 minutes behind delivery time, no tracking information available on the website (it says it will be available one hour ago - yes, you read that right), and I've been listening to the pre-recorded message at the store for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to pick up. Since I have no confirmation that our order is anywhere near us, I guess it's PB&J night over here. Sorry Marcos, we tried.

Terrible customer service. They made one of our pizzas wrong, I called and they hung up after I told them they didn’t put white sauce on one of the pizzas. The guy that spoke to me was extremely rude and hung up. Never going to this Marcos again.

If you want excellent Customer service, a great dining experience, and have a great memorable time with your family while eating out…SKIP THIS LOCATION! We were treated very poorly when trying to use a coupon, and the cashier argued endlessly and ultimately refused the coupon. We left and went to the Marcos Pizza location in Leander that we love. If you truly want the real Marcos Pizza experience skip the Ronald Reagan location and head over to the Leander spot…. also, their AC works inside.
Restaurantji Recommends
I grab pizza and food from this restaurant almost every Friday for movie night with the kids. The food is affordable and straightforward. I admit that the atmosphere of the restaurant itself doesn't really encourage me to eat there, but overall I get what I want from this place. There are places to get better and tastier pizza, but for something relatively cheap... this place scratches the itch.
Great pizza, easy to order, always on time.
We've been loyal customers of Marco's since 2019, but I understand that the ownership has changed, which is why we've found ourselves ordering from elsewhere over the past year. I’d like to address our most recent experience, which took place on Saturday. My husband ordered several pizzas and a dessert pizza. Unfortunately, everything except the dessert pizza was burnt. We had no backup food to feed our kids and their guests, so we ended up having to eat the burnt pizza. Typically, people look forward to reheating leftover pizza in the days that follow, but this was so overcooked that it was unappetizing. Whoever was working on Saturday night should have remade the order and properly disposed of the burnt pizzas. It's disappointing because this used to be a go-to spot for us.
Their smoke detector chirps. I'll let you infer the rest
I visited this Marco's for the first time in about 18 months. It used to be quite nice and well run but this visit was pretty bad. The staff when I was there on Friday night were not native English speakers and had trouble understanding names. I told them my name was Michael and they offered me an order prepared for Maritza. Due to an error on my part, I had to wait over 40 minutes.
Because I was there so long, I noticed a lot of things. Banners in the windows are outdated with prices that are no longer valid. The smoke detector chirped every 45 seconds. The staff had to get napkins out of the dispensers on tables because they were apparently running out of napkins for takeout. There are multiple menu screens and only two were running, which just looks sloppy. The lights in the customer dining area were not turned on. Overall, it just felt very poorly managed.
