Pulled up to get my order after it was already supposed to be ready. He told me it would be just a few more minutes and then never came back until I actually had to yell to get his attention. Then, when he came back, he asked what the name was again, so I told him then he went and grabbed the food that had been sitting there ready for 20 minutes super annoying, super frustrating, especially when it was sitting there while he ignored me.

Was our first time in. Two young Adults did an excellent job. Both were very friendly and professional. Sandwich I had was very yummy along with the cup of broccoli-cheddar soup, very cheesy We will definitely be back.

The Choose 2 half sandwich plus salad or soup is perfect for lunch. I had the New Yorker sandwich and even the 1/2 sandwich was plenty. Everything was tasty and fresh and the staff were wonderful.

Hadn't been to a McAllister's in years and the last time I was there I loved it, so I was excited to check it out. Employees were fantastic and vibes were as good as they could be. The food was terrible. I got the lunch special have a king club sandwich and a cup of tortilla soup. The honey mustard was offensively sweet. Ruined the sandwich. The bread was dwarfed by the other ingredients, pretty typical w clubs I guess. Obviously they don't use fresh ingredients but there was a stale taste that I don't remember it having. The chicken tortilla soup looked cream based instead of broth based and tasted of processed cheese. Creamy cheesey tortilla soup?!?! The opposite of what I wanted, that's why I ordered a tortilla soup. I assumed light and brothy. My fiance ordered the combo as well and we both got drinks. Total came to $36+ 😑. Never again. Save yourself this experience and just go to Jason's deli down the street.

What has McAllisters turned into? Was excited to visit the new store in my area, and MAN. The quality really has taken a nosedive. Half a sandwich and a small cup of soup for two ppl, $36. The only thing this place has going for it really is the tea. Staff was very friendly and helpful, I will say that.

We stopped in around 8pm on Wednesday to grab a quick bite. We were greeted promptly upon entering. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

During ordering, we changed our mind a couple times, but they were able to update our order, and they were nice about it. Our food came out quickly. It was hot and fresh. One of the managers even made sure we got drink refills before we left.

I had the red beans and rice, which was tasty. I would order it again.

I was visiting a friend in town and I love Mcalister's so we went to this location as I heard it was newer. Our cashier, Claudia wasn't the friendliest & seemed a little distracted. The store itself was pretty clean. We went to sit & hear some yelling (nothing too loud) and saw the cashier snapping at their employees like a little too aggressively? Idk it looked like a lot of high schoolers working there so it might be their first job & it just didn't sit right with me that she was being so snappy. The food itself was great & Mcalister's is always consistent but the management here needs to be nicer to their staff

Nice staff and a good sandwich. Here’s what kept it from being 5 stars for me. 1. Requesting tips at counter service without an easy way to skip it. 2. I wanted just a sandwich but it was the same cost for a sandwich with a side as it was without. So I had to pay for a side dish that I didn’t want or need. I also prefer self serve drinks (even though I didn’t get a drink today) I watched so much staff time refilling drinks, adding ice etc, it’s no wonder they were backed up when I left.

Bread had Toasted/burn marks but still somehow soggier than an old bowl of cereal.

McAlister’s Deli in Leander was… fine. My sandwich tasted good but was soggy enough to qualify as a drink. The soup was bland and barely filled. And they forgot my pickle — which I didn’t want, but still… what if I did?

Decent flavor, sloppy execution.

We had a delightful dinner on a busy Friday evening.

I asked for a spontaneous customization of a spud at the counter and my cashier needed a little technology help to find the right pathway to “yes”. He was cheerful and accommodating! His shift lead jumped right in to help him and had his back. I loved seeing how the crew were getting all the gears running together. They looked like a great team. Related: try asking for the veggie chili as a spud topping. Yummmmmm!

Multiple members of the team checked on us as we dined and took excellent care of all the customers. I saw the shift lead assist another larger group of customers to get seated together and accommodate some mobility needs. Made me smile.

Where did the window art go? It was adorable!

Three stars because the service was good. They were on top of that portion of the experience. But a few notes that I didn’t like… first the tea isn’t working just yet said something about not functioning which is disappointing but not necessarily their fault so I’ll let that one go. Next the card reader when paying wouldn’t accept American Express which ok again working out the kinks I get it but then it immediately asks for a tip and there’s no way to skip that you have to manually enter $0 for it if you don’t want to leave a tip. Why are you asking for a tip when I’m paying for the meal upfront, not that I mind leaving a tip but no option to skip just forces you to add it figure out how to enter $0. Lastly the food, sandwiches were basically what you expect from the chain however here’s the big thing. We both ordered a cup of soup. See pictures. They both came out maybe half way filled in the cup. Ugh! One person ordered the choose two so you expect a half sandwich and a full cup of soup but no it was maybe 10 bites of soup. For what they charge for drinks and soup you should be getting a lot. $36 for two people for a basic lunch and half a soup each. Not impressed. Will try again in a couple weeks and see if anything changes. Service and cleanliness was great but it’s new so I would expect that.

Claudia was extremely kind! Gave us her what she thought would be the best mix for tea mash ups. The service was amazing. Manager came out and introduced hisself. So glad for the new Leander location!
