I was the victim of a hit and run in their parking lot. The person who hit me is getting away with it because Republic hasn’t bothered to fix their cameras and they haven’t worked for over six months. Unacceptable.
The food is really good. I typically get the shrimp tacos which comes with three decent sized tacos and are really filling. They recently updated their menus and I’m curious about trying the birria grilled cheese!
Our waitress Emma was the best ever!!! She was so sweet and funny!

I ordered the Texas Carbonara and was very shocked by how small the portion size was. My sons kids quesadilla I would consider to be more food. When the children’s meal portions are larger, some revaluation needs to be done. For a $22 pasta it was very underwhelming. I don’t think we will be coming back despite the pasta being very good.

The food was pretty good, and the wait staff was cheerful, engaging, and clean. The food was good but it was all VERY salty. Not so much so that I would not go back, however. The burger sliders are good.

The place is nice, the service was good, but man at that price I expect way better food. This place used to be worth the $25 entrees.

Food seemed ok, but for the price, was feeling like the execution could've been better. My wife told me that her grits were a little watery and seemed to lack a smooth creamy texture. My Risotto seemed a bit on the salty side. My son's steak for Med rare, seemed a bit charred. Would be willing to give another try at a later date and see how the cocktails are.

I don’t typically leave bad reviews, or really, hardly ever. I’m also a huge supporter of local business and a former server. We came in to celebrate a special day for us.
We had our second bad time at this restaurant in a row. The first time, we waited 30 minutes for our drink orders to be taken in a non-busy restaurant while servers cleaned, rolled silverware, etc. the second, the same treatment in a restaurant that was half empty and a 1.5 hours from closing.
Thinking we could try again after the first experience, we visited tonight and experienced very similar things, and more.
We waited 30 minutes to be seen after being seated, and when we were, we were given water (awesome!) but never asked about wanting another drink. Money missed, as we would have ordered more! We were asked about food during our first interaction with our server, which is fine.
Our French fries, which you DO pay a fairly high amount for, came out cold. More or less inedibly cold. However, we were never able to get a server to help us make it right.
After about another 25-30 minute wait for food, we did very much enjoy our sliders, which were very good!
Upon being ready for the check, we waited ANOTHER 23 minutes (I was keeping track at this point) to even see our server. She was nowhere to be found. In this time, another server brought us an “extra dirty martini” that we didn’t order. No worries.
Upon asking about the check with another server, they told us “The extra drink was added to your ticket so they’re working on fixing it and then it should be right out.” Conveniently enough, our ticket was then magically ready to go not two minutes later! This was also the first time anyone had checked how our food was. As a former long-time server, I can tell you the “working to fix it” either was a lie, or these employees aren’t being trained properly. It takes no time to fix that.
Eventually we finally received our ticket (martini free!) and were able to leave after nearly 1.5 hours at this restaurant.
The sliders were good, but in no way at all will we ever be back to try again just to get a “third strike.”
I hate leaving negative reviews, but I can only handle so much!

Nice place. Narrow menu, but what is offered is good. Lemonade is great. Shoestring fries are very good, too. Sliders and wings are good.

Been here several times. New menu is great, but we miss the nachos! Less beer selection on tap than previous visits, so hope they get more. Never been disappointed with republic. Great place!

Seriously? I’ve been here a handful of times over the past three years, just moved to the area and love this place. The food’s always great, I have yet to have anything I didn’t just love. The cesar salad is fun, different, but makes a nice head nod to a classic cesar. The sliders are awesome, they cook the venison very well. Wings are solid, try the lemon pepper, you won’t regret it. Everything’s great. I’ve only ever sat at the bar, but the bartenders know what they’re doing, are nice, and the glasses and cutlery are cleaned well. 10/10 I’ll be back and recommend this place to everyone I know.
Edit. Their glasses are also super clean, with is a big plus.
Parking: There’s plenty. Some small spots and some big, you won’t have trouble finding a spot though.

The menu is limited & portions are appetizer size. The food is very good otherwise but the price is high for what you get.
