My husband and I came here for the first time 3/8/24. We had eyed this place before but due to my food issues, it didn’t seem like I could get much to eat. Well, they changed the menu since we looked a while ago. We gambled and decided to go. We showed up right at the end of happy hour, so a couple of things were a bit cheaper. So many things sounded great on the new menu but I wasn’t sure how they cooked them. I let our server Emily know so had a dairy issue and she sent Adam over to have a chat. We started with the Mesquite Smoked Brussels & the Roasted Tomato Bruschetta. Sorry we were hungry and I forgot the photos. I moved the cheese off the bruschetta and it was still delicious! I do not care for brussel sprouts but let me tell you, they sure were yummy! I had the Maryland Style Crab Cakes cooked in oil vs butter. The hubby had the Texas Carbonara and they were both delicious and we highly recommend both. They catered to my dairy issue, but if I paid attention to my minor gluten issue I think I would have struggled a bit. I could likely have had the Venison Lettuce Wraps but I didn’t check since I stopped Adam at the crab cakes. The atmosphere was pleasant, noise level just fine, bathrooms were clean. We will be back for sure! Thank you Emily and Adam for your help and excellent service!Dietary restrictions: See my review for restrictions. Thanks for reading!

They completely redid the menu and it’s phenomenal! The portions were great, the food is tasty and every ingredient tastes so fresh. I can’t wait to come back and try something different next time!

I love this place! It is so fun to meet here for happy hour and Adam is amazing! He is on top of it and works so hard and always with a positive attitude. He will get you anything you need and in a timely manner. You can tell he loves his job…serving is not always easy! The drink I had was the Gin Basil Smash, which is delicious and so refreshing! The Margherita Flatbread is amazing too and so flavorful! I highly recommend this fun and laid back place that’s so nice and close to home in this fast-growing area!

Service was great. The crab cakes were good. The breakfast hash is usually topped with Queso which I had on the side. Portion size was on the small side. Crab cakes can be hit or miss. I prefer Pappadeaux's crab cakes but they were pleasant here.

Went here last night and was not impressed.Service is bad and most of the staff aren’t friendly. The cherry on top was waiting an hour to actually eat and as soon as we started eating a drunk guy next to us decided to strike up a conversation. That was annoying enough but he was spitting all over our food as he talked.Don’t sit at the bar. The service sucks and clientele are garbage too.

If you haven't been to The Republic lately, you should stop by and check out their new menu! Some items are no longer available (bye bye airline chicken), others have gotten a bit of a revamp (shrimp and grits), and yet others are completely new (hello Thai venison lettuce wraps)! The kids menu also got a complete revamp. The restaurant and bar is still the same, no changes there. If you haven't been, be aware that it does run on the darker side and can be a little hard to read the menus at times. Service was still great, in fact our food came out faster than usual. With a new menu, we had to try lots of new things. For apps, we got the pretzel- still delicious, but now with a green chili queso as well as spicy mustard. We couldn't resist trying the Thai Venison Lettuce Wraps- they were AMAZING, but definitely spicy. For dinner, I had the Texas Carbonara and my spouse had the Venison Sloppy Joe sliders. Kid one tried the spaghetti, kid two had the mac and cheese, and we ordered a shoestring fries side for the table. The kids gave their meals thumbs up and actually ate without encouragement, so it must have been good. The carbonara used a thicker noodle and had pork belly in it, so no complaints here! The venison sloppy joes were a stand out as well- but nothing beat those lettuce wraps! We noticed on the menu that they are also now doing a brunch on Sat and Sun, so we will be checking that out soon. Stay tuned to hear about the brunch menu!

Republic recently updated their menu. I've been working my way through it. Everything has been great. The previous menu was okay, but nothing to write about. The new menu takes is a whole different level. The Vension Lettus wraps are a great way to start or a great Keto option. Of the Entrees the Texas carbonara (pork belly instead of bacon) is great. The shrimp and grits is one of the best I've had.The flatbreads are good. The crust is a little thick for what I consider a flatbread but that doesn't take away from the flavor. My favorite is the Angry Primo - I've renamed it the Angry Puppy. It's spicy... somewhat north of Jalapeño... but if you can take the heat try this one. Then there are the sliders. One of the things that has kept me from trying other things on the menu is the Buffalo Chicken sliders. great spice, the right amount of blue cheese, a little brightness from a pickle, and the perfect bun. I just looked at the clock and it's 9pm and the kitchen is closing. If it was earlier I would have gone over and ordered some.Paul

My wife and I had dinner at the Republic recently and as always we had a very pleasant experience! Food was outstanding and the waiter was awesome! He even remembered us from the previous time we were there. They have new menu selections and both of our entrees were great!
