As someone with over 20 years of experience in the customer service and the Coffee industry, I feel compelled to share my recent disappointing experience with Odeko, the company that emerged from the merger with Waterfall Beverages.In the past, Waterfall Beverages was synonymous with excellence – a company that took pride in its top-notch customer service. Unfortunately, since the merger with Odeko, the once-great company has taken a nosedive in terms of customer care and support.The primary issue we've encountered revolves around Odeko's new system, which has resulted in three consecutive problems with our orders. The most frustrating aspect is their refusal to take responsibility for these issues. Instead, they consistently place blame on our end, even though we've discovered that other businesses are grappling with similar challenges.What's more disheartening is the complete loss of effective customer support. Gone are the days of prompt callbacks and personalized assistance. Now, all communication is relegated to impersonal and inconvenient email exchanges. Despite numerous attempts to address our concerns, Odeko seems more interested in making excuses than resolving the issues at hand.To add insult to injury, Odeko has adopted a questionable practice of charging additional fees to rectify problems that are clearly a result of their own system failures. It's disheartening to witness a company prioritize profit over the satisfaction of its loyal customers.In light of these challenges, I strongly caution fellow businesses to think twice before engaging with Odeko. While change is inevitable in the business world, it's unfortunate to witness the decline of a once-exemplary company.As we welcome 2024, I bid farewell to Odeko with the hope that they reevaluate their commitment to customer service. To my fellow business owners, I encourage you to explore alternative suppliers who prioritize customer satisfaction and support.Wishing you all a prosperous and hassle-free year ahead.
